Spanish war also fucked me up too for This Achievement I just got 48 divisions so you don’t stretch yourself too thin especially if you do it before WW2 then Germany and Italy send tank volunteers and are able to fuck you up unless you have 2 full armies.

I think the big problem with making hard achievements is that the entire game revolves around the major world powers, so any difficult achievement will eventually result in you clashing with multiple of them, causing the “kill everyone” thing tommy talks about

I think that part of the issue with achievements, is just the grind. You can spend hours in a game, but one wrong thing happens and all that progress is gone. Sometimes the enemy get's too powerful that you can't deal with them. Other times you are required to rely on the AI for support, but it is the AI we are talking about. So it goes badly. It's these really grind like achievements that really makes me want to use something like WeMod that allows me to just blatantly cheat and unlock the achievements. It can get so frustrating coming across a brick wall and eventually having to restart. I do wonder how many people have gone and used cheats to get the achievements. I've yet to do so, but man are there times that I want to.
