Hearts of Iron IV is a grand strategy video game developed by Paradox Development Studio and published by Paradox Interactive. It was released worldwide on June 6, 2016. It is the sequel to 2009's Hearts of Iron III and the fourth main installment in the Hearts of Iron series. Like previous games in the series, Hearts of Iron IV is a grand strategy wargame that focuses on World War II. The player may take control of any nation in the world in either 1936 or 1939 and lead them to victory or defeat against other countries.

Even tho the Monarchist New England can't reunify USA, it's still nice to see that you were able to somewhat reunify USA as New France! But this failure in Central America reminded me of the War in Vietnam and how many Americans lost lives there.

You are aware there were also deaths among americans when they tried to turn central america and carribean into puppet governments but military personnel not civilians to force them to repay debts or guarentee access to resources to american market which resources are owned by american companies

I recall with the American Republic you can get the military in charge. I think you have to get the far right party in charge and the military coups the government and you can setup a military junta or restore the republic. I think you can restore the monarchy. I definitely like to see a video on the military taking control and stay in charge.

For role-play purposes, I like to go with King Hamilton and Prime Minister Obama restoring the American Colonial Empire and uniting the Anglo-sphere when I play as the American Republic.

I was going to put the Bonaparte on the throne however nobody was crowned and instead was lead by a building. I was expecting it to be Prince Jean-Christophe who would be crowned

Well that blows. It used to be that the Bonaparte leader was Rene Auberjonois. I guess maybe they removed it since he passed away recently? Hmm. Reading that back doesn’t make any sense though. How odd. This mod was the first time I found out he had a relationship to the dynasty at all, and I thought it was funny that Mr. House himself technically shows up in this mod as a result. Anyway, I hope a reason for this is given at some point. Still a shame though. I rather enjoyed that path as a result of his crowning. Oh well.

@@tomasqwerty Ah, I see. Something else that needs patching then. Hopefully it’ll be fixed with the next update. I’m very much looking forward to the next big expansion in the mod. I personally can’t wait to see how the USSR collapse events play out.
