Your job at the Cabin Factory is simple: inspect the cabins and decide on whether they’re haunted or not. If you do find any anomalies, get out…immediately.
Welcome to The Cabin Factory - as a newly hired Cabin Inspector your job is to inspect the cabins and determine whether or not they are haunted.
Inspect the whole cabin:
If haunted, turn back immediately and press 'danger'.
Is safe, press 'clear'.
The Cabin Factory is a short horror anomaly-hunting experience (~60 minutes) inspired by liminal spaces and psychological horror walking simulators, like 'The Exit 8', 'Pools', and their virtual predecessor, 'P.T.'.

What a confusing game when it comes to what it defines as movement. The dude at the table looks at you and that's classed as movement but when he's looking at you when his wife is at the table it's not classed as movement.

Seems clear to me. His head moved = movement, no head moving = no movement.

The animation for the stoves fire and curtains blowing were the only things that confused me some. They had static animations in every version of cabin. Otherwise if you see any movement it’s haunted.

The painting of the mom seem to pixelate and appear to move every time you look at and away from her... its probably a design choice but everytime the pov camera speed seem to make her move

It’s definitely designed by the dev to be an optical illusion to mess with the player. That’s why I stopped and stared at it so much.

They make you ignore the games main mechanic for a minute which is counterintuitive. Since there’s movement in the. You’d think you’re suppose to get out asap and hit red button. Instead you have to be patient and methodical.
