AIM got the avengers sample after they fought in one of the origin bomb sites. If you recall - they fought to exhaustion (it was the entire arc with the signal that turned the planet off pretty much), and then POD arrived and knocked them out, at which point AIM arrived, took some samples, and took POD with them.

The """Scientist Supreme""" designation has such an arbitrary and hollow ring to it. I bet RDJ Stark woulk mock the hell out of it because he is the best mechanical engineer, Banner is the best nuclear physicist and Reed Richards is the best astrophysicist/a jack of all trades. Are they a joke to Eternity?
