there was actually a time frame shortly after Mash's animation update during which, in the "cutscene" with Saber Alter she still used her old model, i think they changed it with the Saber Alter animation update tho also i seem to remember that once upon a time you could use a command spell to use Mash's np before it was even named

Nursery Rhyme was my first gold servant above NP1, and she went all the way to NP4 before I got any other gold servant NP2. While I hated her spooks at the time, she took care of me with her defence, juicy crits, chonk battery tied to a heal and an NP which lowers def and charge alike. Take care of your book and she will take care of you. Trust me, I know!

This is a great idea, I'm excited for all the videos of this new account. Can't wait to see who your first SSR is gonna be. I did something similar with Genshin recently, where I created a new account that is gonna stay completely F2P, and I'm having a blast exploring all those old areas in Mondstadt and Liyue (and using characters that I don't use on my main account). My point is, revisiting old content in a long running game like FGO or Genshin can be really fun.

In the prologue demo battle and in the first few Fuyuki fight, all crits are guaranteed from any non-zero amount of stars on any card, and NPs do the exact amount of damage the enemy has health left. It's a very weird mechanic that is never used anywhere else.

4:15 Yes, in the tutorial battles + the Mash ones in Fuyuki are rigged. If you have any crit chance at all it will crit.

I rerolled for Carmilla on my "new" (now a few years old) account to pay homage to my original, since I didn't have transfer code and didn't go through the trouble of trying to get the original, since it was f2p with no SSRs on it. Still f2p, but many more SSRs.

Been doing this type of run myself just to challenge clearing the story with mostly low stars. It's really fun so far and the tower event has helped me find out how crazy efficient some of the low star skills are. Looking forward to seeing how you deal with the iconic boss fights/nodes

Imo it's one of the best features in any gacha game today. After all, it's only 15 bucks. And it's not like you have to tell anybody 😳🤣🤣

So finally someone had similar idea. 1-2 years ago was thinking about such runs as the challenge to see how quickly can you "establish" f2p account. Not having meta supports really changes a lot, and makes you consider many units much higher for little quirks they have (like highest atk among their lower rarity etc). While I kinda understand not wanting Herc, having access to lvl up Herc from friend list was meta to powering up your account quickly (Herc could farm higher lvl embers at launch reliably from what I've heard). Interested to see what you discover!

As a relatively new F2P NA player, i hope to see how your journey would be and also see which banners you would try your luck on. With lb6 just around the corner, making a new account is beneficial in some aspects but the amount of effort you would have to put in it as an F2P is also much greater. Nice! I started a free to play account during the last new player event, just to see what I could get, and roll on banners Id otherwise skip. It quickly ate all my luck and got NP2 Muramasa while my first account got none. My rule is no $ and I just roll when I want. It's worked well so far, and helps me stay disciplined on my main as I save for Konyaskya.
