Seeing small rad town gives so much nostalgia.... or is it PTSD? you know what, with Rust, its basically one in the same. I'll never forget Legacy Rust, the OP pickaxe, the red and black shirt zombies, the incredibly buggy Rad Animals and the pillars that surrounded every base... back when the old 3x3 was seen as really strong and large base.

My desire is that Rust makes 10-25 more monuments and has them up as a rotation between official wipes. It will get too clustered with just straight adding more monuments, but allowing enough breathing room where you have so many combinations would be amazing. I know people get tired of always running the same monument so to have a more variety would be a blessing.

This is literally just crying for the sake of crying, there are so many different monuments already, you can build next to different one every wipe, nobody forces you to do the same monument every time. Adding more monuments is fine, all we need is increasing the map size accordingly. With the amount of ways of transport nowadays there is really nothing wrong with making maps bigger. It would also help people hide their bases which was heavily nerfed with HDRP.

2 things rust needs, Lumber Yard Monument spend diesel to get wood & storage adapters can set to auto sort boxes they are attached too based on name, type, or tier. Bonus would be to add shocks to cars and copters so less hard landings and damage to vehicle

Every time I see a picture of rust legacy I feel so sad . Even if the game is old but it has something that The new one will never have. Anyway it was my childhood game and the first English word I learned for it was "I'm friendly" 😂😅

Thank god they are fixing the branches. We were losing power output sometimes because it was still coded as if the branch ate 1 power so even though the draw on the battery was less, it would have some power that was physically lost to the void.

They already got the day and night cycles right with the moon and sun but I think it'd be cool if they threw in the occasional random eclipse. Shouldn't be hard to implement as they already happen but it doesn't change the lighting in the game currently.

The coordinates used by the game to calculate the skybox are 10S 25W. The next eclipse near that location is 6 February 2027. I wonder what happens if you change the server time and date to that day? I'd be impressed if they actually coded in that level of detail.

I think the legacy town is a good addition since it would make sense with all the abandoned monuments, making the islands look more it was inhabited previously but something gone wrong

take the Bicycle add a battery to it and wire it with wiring tool but you have to take it back of from bike to charge it back up and you have an electric bike

Im glad they are doing more Citiesque/townesque monuments. IMO what is truly missing in Rust doesnt have to do with the gameplay but rather the World itself. They should add more civil monuments such as city buildings, shopping malls, real road system and bridges, etc. Rust is such a fun game but the World sometimes feels a bit too boring.

I still wish they did more with Missile Silo and integrated it more into the lore. Regardless, the foundations are there to improve it. Love seeing an old monument return. But to be honest, I want more Monument variety, like someone else said, I want to see more monuments made and built, but rotated and shuffled/randomised so that each wipe feels different. I still feel there should be staple monuments like Oil Rig, the quarries, Airfield, Launch Site. But maybe remove Oxum's and have this new Rad Town or Remove Water Treatment and have something new like a Hydro Dam monument etc.

Been playing since december 2013 and this just made me feel a certain way... not that i want it back but i miss Legacy Rust more than any game in the world to be honest. Spent 100s of hours and made every friend i talk to through Legacy and the people i met there. I might have to get back on for a wipe in the first time in years just to see small rad..

rust should add a fallout bunker type monument with saferooms and stuff like the island survided a nuke, would be cool if instead of beach you started in a bunker that and they have like a blast site monement where the nuke detonated like a 4-8 grid giant pit with high rads in the center like launch has on roof

i really hope there is a bike variation that is a trials motorcycle you can do landscape jumps with, ie: landing on someones 3 stories high roof. and do a real collab with snoop dogggggggg maybe add weed strains for hemp lol to replace the genes system on hemp make it lineages and crossbreeds and give a real weed drug in game to be consumed for effects like teas. imagine stoned drive bys on a bicycle
