Good to see an alternative as a little competition never goes astray. Bit surprised it doesn't have an "anchor" to stop the head moving around. Was that studs on top of the case?

For sure 😊 yea I found that really strange too. Yes there are studs on top so could likely stack multiple cases using jumper tiles.. might not be the most secure though. I think linking side by side would be more reliable using technic pins.

Hi Bonnie , Happy New Year !! 🎉🥳-- Thanks for the review 👍, but I think my search continues . I need a display case for the newer Disney Castle . I bought it -- day one -- and refuse to even open the box until I find a proper case !! ( Me being stubborn 🙄) Looking forward to your upcoming video -- opening CMFs . Take care , Dreamer

And a Happy New Year to you!! 😃🌟 Yea I think such an epic set deserves to be displayed in all its glory in something more spectacular, in any case this company only makes cases for helmets at the moment anyway. Haha I was the same when building my Walt Disney camera and didn't build it until my Wicked Brick case arrived. I hope you find something to suit you soon so you can build it hehe 😊 thanks so much again!

Thanks for the review Bonnie. I clicked on the Amazon link and it seems to be more expensive than the wickedbrick and idisplayit options. So it seems quite expensive for what it is? It’s great to see more competition as the established options while excellent are expensive. Hopefully the Bricksmax ones may end up cheaper to make them a budget option. Great review though 😊

Yea when you take into account delivery/shipping cost, it brings the Wicked brick version over the cost of the Briksmax version, albeit only by a smidge. I'd agree, given how close in price they are, the quality of the materials and display appearance, the Wicked brick version is much better value. But if they were to lower the price I think they could be a good alternative 😊 Thanks so much!

a rather diplomatic review 😬 anyway I see the exposed studs as an opportunity to build your own stand/anchor to go inside the case 🔨though it would have been nice if they provided the materials to do so 🤷🏼

Just my honest opinion 😋 Mm yea that could be an idea, the technic sort of piece on the side definitely allows for side on attachments to multiple cases that seems more secure.

Extremely informative as always and your editing was on point from start to finish. I think for the cost this case serves the market well and gives options on value for money display solutions. For me the structure is too chunky with it’s black side supports for the Perspex sides, would have looked more aesthetically pleasing on the eye if these supports were manufactured in clear or even silver rather than black, as to me this distracts from what you have on display inside. The background seems to be a bit of an after thought, with you not being able to fit both the design and the perspex. It’s value for money at the price point which is positive, but not something I’ll be rushing out to purchase personally. Excellent review.

Yea definitely agree with what you've said Trev, especially about the chunky structure. Glad you found the review useful 😊 Thank you!!!

I’m a Wicked Brick repeat customer and any new product manufacturer’s have a high benchmark to beat. This case is a nice idea but flawed with thick black corner supports blocking your view and a big hole in the bottom front panel. This will let in as much dust as if the helmet was loose on the shelf defeating the object of displaying inside a case.

Very true Simon, I'd agree now having received my first Wicked brick case, the quality is 👌 Yea I'm not sure why it was designed like that, seems a bit strange to me too, including the swinging door... I suppose to allow people to remove their sets more easily to admire!? 😅

Nice, not that it has any bearing but the WB factory is only around 15 miles from where I live.

these types of products are very much "you get what you pay for". what's sad is most of the low-quality options are still overpriced because they’re from start-ups rather than venture capitalists
@bonniebricks9 ай бұрын
Yea I would agree with that tbh. I think it's down to the cost of everything going up rn, including materials like acrylic unfortunately. But for those that are keen to keep them helmets clean from dust, I guess it's still better than forking out every time for the bigger fishes' tanks, if you catch my drift 😂

I have nothing against this display case company, when they perfect the cases then maybe i'll consider buying. Until then i will stick with buying the Wicked Bricks cases, as far as i'm aware they work along side Lego to make there display cases.
@bonniebricks9 ай бұрын
Yea I think that's fair, as I mentioned this is their first go at it so issues like those I mentioned aren't totally surprising. I hope they do improve the designs though as it would be great to have a cheaper option out there than WB.
