Really enjoyed this game and enjoyed your streams during the beta, both first and this last one. this is one I'll definitely play when it comes out ... hopefully they won't hit us too much with monetization, though I won't have any problem paying for some stuff in recognition to, hopefully, a great work from the devs.

Interesting video man, overall i think more variety in genre is always good. Also i found the game to be quite accessible (but hey, maybe i`m biased due to warfame/destiny experience) tbh the biggest desire of mine was to jump into a fresh experience with young community and get involved around it.

I definitely agree! Only some parts were new to me because I didn't play Warframe, but I picked things up quick! Outside of the translation errors making it confusing lol. But I would love to see this community flourish like Destiny or Warframes did!

It was a fun game i agree on most of what you said skills was only really for movement of splash damage it felt like, the purple ammo was way to little except for boss fights I noticed was the lack of keyboard for console compatibility to be a bit hard to know the controls but thats it

Honestly I think you hit right on the money the skills themselves need a bit of a rework, and the ammo economy could for sure use some work. It was fun for sure, I hope once it releases it’ll be amazing here’s to hoping I can continue to use Ajax 😎

Good vid bro, I do disagree with your last point, I mainly played the open beta as Kyle and Lepic and my skill modifiers had me hitting for like 330k on Kyle and 35k per enemy for Lepics Overkill shots

Hey thanks! And it's entirely possible that I didn't build my characters modules right. I've been looking at the other comments, and other videos and it seems that other people do think the average DPS of most characters were too low. Hopefully they can find a happy medium! I miss hitting million on my sharen!

the direction i saw first hand is pay for convenience, enemys are no threat, there is little mission variety. the big bosses were cool but you have to have resources to fight them.

not only does it have good visuals but i feel like this is what games like outriders should have been a fun experience not a slog threw enemies an exp. atlest at the very start. liked how your always finding improvements on gear. the giant enemy crab-bot fight's grabble an punch the week spot ala shadows of colossus style mini game could be tweaked a bit as its tricky to nail an didn't feel that impactful compared to shooting at it.

I agree! Even though I loved Outriders, outside of the issues they had, this game definitely feels a lot more well-thought out!

To expand on the skill usage being lame, it's not even that they nerfed the damage. It feels like they were aggressively nerfing skill efficacy, as you had way too many cooldowns, mp drain was too high, and also obnoxious windups for skills. I was playing Lepic this beta, and I thought his skills were a simple but effective crowd control toolkit. Where you combine the ability to group up enemies for the grenades or the ult, and if you needed more damage, you turn on the boost mode. But it was nigh impossible to do a combo of the grouping skill and the damage move without running out of mana especially with the boost mode, and then you add the long cooldowns with the pitiful duration of the grouping ability, and you get the idea. It was only until nearly hitting the level cap and investing into skill modules that it felt better. Which is ridiculous as you'd think a character with such an obvious combo wouldn't need such effort to make it work, and it never felt smooth even with the modules. Another complaint of mine would be the anomalous materials grind which is for getting the legendary weapons and new characters. The two missions are way too similar and get very monotonous. And speaking of monotony, I know you're supposed to be grinding for them, but some of the material drop rates felt way too low. And given that you need to roll for the item you want within the material's pool of stuff, it just felt like it didn't respect my time and make for a fun grind. And I get the gut feeling that that area is where the most aggressive monetization will be. As don't forget, for these betas we get an infinite supply of keys for these lootboxes. So in short, this double-dipping of rng for this item that has all the neat stuff with a scarcity of attempts to get lucky for the thing you want is only just not fun for me, but also throws up red flags as to where they might trip over their own dick wrt to noxious monetization.

I wholeheartedly agree! I think if they fix the skill damage, and cooldowns, making each character have an identity again - that alone would make it way more fun for me!

Game was good but like ol boy said main issue was yeah the skills what's the point of having skills if they all weak no real power to then just take skills away leave the guns or buff the skills make em just as powerful as u can make ya weapons then I believe this game would really be on point and yeah ammo too everything else was on point

Yes, literally like warframe, with ultimates instead of primes, and they have their own regal aya and platinum. The fact that guns have levels is like the biggest difference, other than I guess the bosses and the cooldowns on skills. Edit: I just realised I said levels have guns so I fixed that.

Yo there's some canister container stuff around the map, u can melee them and you'll find ammo. I must say it will pull me from Destiny. I had fun

I'd feel better if they just get rid of skills altogether and give each class one ultimate technique like a giant AOE. (freeze everything on the field, lava lake, giant meteor shower etc.) Then add more to the gun modifiers like explosive bullets and chance not to consume ammo. Also, no cooldown on grappling. I think that's one thing that pissed off people about Anthem, they should've given everyone unlimited flight to begin with and not something you had to extend.

Tbh worse part oof the Beta was Mastery Locking Leveling your Modules. It's an EXTREMELY stupid idea I get (but very much hated) Warframe MR locking characters or weapons. But something super basic like leveling Mods??? Hell No. All that will do is cause underpowered people to flood all content because theyll wanna catch up to where they were in the beta and we wont have all the free handouts to make it next to not noticeable. Sure we may have more story to have higher level stuff but that doesnt help, it just raises the bar for when its gonna happen. Say like how I was in WF. I get 1 character and 1 gun I Absolutely love and dont wanna waste my time getting stuff I'm not gonna use. Then what? Ik in this game more then character level will up MR but leveling characters heavily outshines every other way to the point I didnt know there Was other ways until I googled it. So locking basic power progression like is very stupid in my opinion and just asking for people who arnt die hard to quit your game asap. No sane person wants a game to be a chore or treated like a 2nd job. They shouldnt make the same mistakes other games make just because they're similar. They should want to be Better. Plain and Simple.

So I watched your clip, and while it is good damage don't get me wrong. Respectfully, that's still like 1/3 of the damage that was was possible during the open beta. So that's kinda my problem. Great build though! Not denying it's a great build, just sad the damage ceiling was lowered so heavily overall for all characters.

It's crazy that so many people who makes videos on this game fails to mension Warframe. This game is a somewhat straight ripof of Warframe, except drops in the world and big bosses. The mods, the character variation, the abilities and so on. It's warframe

outriders was the first game i returned in steam in 13 years of being on that platform.. it was that bad. Been playing Destiny since D1 mind you.. I hope this game finds a good balance point, because as seen in D2, the gun game has gone soft and the skill/super has become the meta.. which is BORING. There is something visceral and familiar to just hammering the loud switch on a large weapon and melting the hp away.. skill moves are ok, once in awhile. AS for the pay wall, D2 is bad for it and unless this franchise is willing to bring a good story, with a lot of content to the table, then it will die, just like most of the other Asian money grabs. D2 has failed on the content front and it's player base has melted away. I played Warframe and i liked the motion, hated the art direction, but what killed the game for me was the over the top toxic community and the fact that rarer items, not impossible to find but harder to get, people were selling for $1000 cad real money.. and Warframe didn't put a stop to it.. this is negligent on their part.
