Gunna live my evolve life vicariously through your channel lol. Sadly even though i bought all the characters and monsters on xbox, they took away all the dlc so we are stuck with base monsters and base characters.

That sucks. I had the same issue but somehow I was able to go through the Xbox settings and open the “games and apps” section and look under dlc to find my characters and skins. They were there but uninstalled. I was able to install them all back but after a few months, they disappeared again

Would have been amazing if the game had more interior structures, cool vast sci fi hangars etc, with destructible walkways and walls, like a closed space. Would have just been so cool to fight in as a Hunter and as a Monster. Climbing and crawling around giant ship Industrial tunnels corridors etc. and hunters escaping via small doorways only to have the entire wall smashed in by the monsters etc.

You can grab a key from eBay. They’re pretty cheap and inside the box comes a code that you can redeem on steam

I loved this game and played almost 1000 hours, but the real problem with this game is the balance. the hunter team stands no chance against any good monster if they are not well-coordinated but on the other hand it's also impossible for any good monster to beat a well-coordinated hunter team. it turns out not to be fun on both ends, it's a shame this game didn't solve that problem.

There’s no secret. It either works or doesn’t. I was lucky enough it never stopped working for me. Some people in the discord server told me they are still able to play too. It’s a hit or miss

it was so nice of turtlerock to give away all shop products/dlcs to the remaining players before the shut down out of good faith, oh wait THEY DIDN'T >:(

Unfortunately, turtle rock couldn’t even if they wanted to because they didn’t have access to the game anymore. Only 2k had the power to do that. They did bring the servers and shop online for a year though in 2022 and during that time, I was able to grind enough keys to buy all the skins and even unlock a few from crates that were super rare. I was also able to buy the hunters I was missing because some were locked and needed 3,000 keys to be unlocked. However, 2k still should have released everything to everyone.

The balancing issues and bugs was indeed turtle rocks fault but 2k was ultimately the one who completely destroyed the game. If it wasn’t for them, we could have had evolve now and the issues could have been fixed

Game released way too soon. I have no doubt in my mind it would have been very successful today. Unfortunately, the balancing issues and 2k’s greed with the overpriced dlcs contributed to the games downfall
