They look spectacular on video, I'm gonna have to take a look at them in the store.

Thanks Chris. I'd be really interested in a comparison between the Callaway APEX Ai200 and the TaylorMade P790...I think they have similar lofts (30 degrees vs. 30.5 degrees).

I love the Apex line of irons, but you really need to carry the approach wedge to fill in the gap between the pitching wedge and gap wedge. In other words, you need to carry two gap wedges.

I went ai300. For all the help 🙂

If this is near the end of your season I think it’s the best time to get fit.

Why’s that?

@@goofy3151 if you’ve been playing a lot it’s a good time to test clubs when your game isn’t rusty

I totally agree, I've just been fitted and now have the winter to become 100% familiar with the new irons before next season.

I play the p770s last year model, I'm a 14 handicap person and by far the best set of irons I've ever owned and to top that off just got my first hole in one last Friday😅

Hello Chris. I’m now 57 ball speed with driver 140mph. I have tour edge c722 with 80g shafts will these callaways be good?
@nkimmanceify4 ай бұрын
Could you have all lofts increased by one or two degrees? Ie 43 wedge to 45
@stephenrose4582Ай бұрын
Yes, I believe that you can change the lofts up 4 degrees. Certainly, 2 degrees is okay.

I’d value a comparison between the i230’s and the Takomo 201’s. If you feel like it young man
@JonathanT-j2z4 ай бұрын
Shame there is so much offset. Rules this out as an option for me as I like to draw the ball but nice looking.

Chris. What is so special about a forged iron? I played a used set of Ping I25's my first 4 years of golfing and did well for a beginner. 2 years ago I decided to get a brand new set of Pings because i liked Ping. All I heard was, ya gotta get forged irons. I couldn't find any Ping forged irons so I just bought the I230s and absolutely love them. How is Ping so successful with irons without forging like all the other major brands?
@stephenrose4582Ай бұрын
Once you have played forged irons it is very difficult/disappointing to play caste irons. The feel for forged is just amazing.
@larrylarry92784 ай бұрын
The price of is getting to where the average golfer cannot afford to buy a new set , I had to wait till Ping came out with the 430 irons so I could afford my 425 set .

entirely disagree. i think its one of the most beautiful irons taht i ve seen. tells you its really subjective :D

@@julbor9002 it snot bad i just loved the look of the older ones with the satin look when they first put the weight and screws in them.

AskGolfNut did a very comprehensive forgiveness test of these at different speeds, consistent delivery on all parts of the face and these actually came out very poor!!! Maybe you can’t tell as your strike is far better than the average golfer, so do your own tests guys

It’s a good guide to learn about the clubs. But like all clubs you have to hit em. Too many variables.

Don’t trust that machine imo. Golf is so personal. The data shows my titleist 917d2 is crap but on the course it out performs the new stuff from titleist and taylormade.

Isn’t the Ai200 more comparable to the p790, and the Apex pro more comparable to the p770?
@baccattack4 ай бұрын
More offset in the AI200 compared to the P790 and slightly stronger lofts but yes probably a better comparison point than the P770.
@joshuamalone9044 ай бұрын
You are absolutely right, more comparable to P790. I don't know what Chris is talking about 😂😂😂😂
