If you paid attention you'd realize they were both going for different results. Tiger was showing him to hit the fairway when really needed and Rory was teaching the bomb.

I loved how you could tell how Rory got really into the speed session! At the start you could see he was mostly performing extremely professionally for a video, but as he got into hitting faster and faster you could see him becoming more and more intense about it being an actual opportunity to practice and validate his findings from his session in Dubai last week. To me, these are the marks of a player still in love with the game and working hard. Great to see him also get way into Grant's session and improvement, giving insight and pointers. What a great video!

It's not up to them, these are all brand endorsed deals. They probably have matches scheduled later, but if you notice the trend, it was tips with Tiger, and now Rory. It's all TM Contract.

He's 5'9" it's not like he's that short. I think Grant is like 6'4" so he makes Rory look tiny. Rory probably weighs more than Grant even being ~7 inches shorter so that definitely helps with his power

Rory has so much power and hits it so far while maintaining a perfect swing throughout. No crazy body movements or anything. Truly special watching him hit driver in person. I was lucky enough to have him set up right in front of me on the range in Saturday's warmup at the PGA last year. I had a perfect down-the-line angle and it was so fun to watch

That Charley and Gabby vid was pretty painful, Charley seemed like she mostly didnt want to be there and Gabby talked too much through nerves and wanting to be liked it seemed. Rory cops a lot of flak for reasons I dont know, but to me he always comes across as very genuine and very thoughtful and an all round good guy.

This whole video is mind bogglingly amazing watching Rory just go; but hearing "Gaaah, no" after he hits 186 ball speed 298 carry and maybe only about 15 yards left of where he was aimed is just hilarious. For me to hit a ball that well, I've gotta take another 60 or 70 yards off that carry and it's probably going 140-something or maybe touching like 152 for ball speed. But Rory says "Gaaaah, no". xD xD xD

when I saw Rory in person last year at RBC (Hilton Head), standing like 5 fee away, what you don't see or appreciate on TV is just how jacked this dude is. He is in phenomenal condition. The guy has put so much work in at the gym and conditioning that it contributes to his ability to absolutely destroy balls.

When Nike first signed him they did body scans and found that his build was really off balance. The first thing they did was get him a dedicated team to train him properly in the gym to “even” him out. His speed after that seemed to increase a lot and his body was just overall more sculpted.
