I remember visiting the Afar region in 2019. This brings back so many memories - the incredible landscapes and people, the boys with Crocs and Kalashnikovs, the camel caravans, going to the salt flats on the Eritrean border and sleeping on the lip of an active volcano (Erta Ale). It was a truly humbling experience. The only vehicles on the road were the white Toyota pickups of the tour guides and red Chinese construction trucks. I remember how excited our tour guides were to show us a new road that would cut travel time to the volcano by 2 hours.

I feel bad for those whom it effects but it's fascinating to see such a big change happen, albeit begin, within my lifetime. Especially how early on in my life means I get to see even more of its effecs

Your humor gets me every time, with such a serious tone overall the story is told in such a professional manner. 10/10 as always. Crazy interesting,

It's a hollow, giant, flat earth with dinosaurs in the geometric center because all math and geometry is a lie. What's there to be confused about? XD

I was here in 2019. In the afar region. With Action Tours. I was traveling with an adventurer, shooting his trip and we were Misganaw’s first travelers to the fissure. He is an amazing person and guide. Great video.

Fern uses MacBooks with Blender? No wonder why the videos are at such a high quality standard! 👏🙌

Sorry but what’s wrong with a PC and Blender 😂
@just_mdd426 күн бұрын
@@00shivani Nothing, lol - as a matter of fact, I'm running Blender on my laptop (which doesn't even have a dedicated GPU!) I do aspire to have a MacBook Pro, though, because the battery life on my (14-inch) IdeaPad is genuinely atrocious.

@@just_mdd4 I’m a programmer + artist and I purchased a desktop computer this year. For $1200 i got intel i9 13th gen cpu + standard intel graphics card (but i can switch it out whenever), 32GB ram, and 2TB SSD, plus a monitor keyboard and mouse. I was on a little laptop prior to that too. Even if i switch to a top of the line nvidia graphics card, my final cost would be close to $2000, whereas a new iMac of similar specs would be no less than $3k. I’ve used an iMac before and it’s fine, only considerations, you can’t go in and customize your preferences after purchasing it. Also I’m not a fan of how the mouse moves and that the browsers are never full screen lol. All this to say: save your money lol. PCs are better value. I use apple products for everything else, iPhone, iPad (although i regret buying my iPad… i should have bought the MacBook laptop instead, and for drawing, a standard drawing pad attachment for my computer. I bought the iPad mostly for procreate. Bad usage. Can’t properly use photoshop, blender, nothing) But MacBooks are very nice too. I haven’t researched that many laptops, but i know MacBook is a better deal than the iMac.
