I haven't used a portable CD player in 25 plus years. It does look like a nice unit.

I remember carrying around a portable CD player in high school. It didn't have a lot of these freatures, pretty bare bones except it did play the music I wanted. I might pick this unit up.

In the days of streaming, it feels nostalgic to load up a CD into this player! But the old players used to run through batteries like crazy. This one has saved me some money with the rechargable battery. Thanks for the comment.

Thank you for letting folks know that your unit was faulty here in the comments section. I hope you follow up when your new player arrives. I just love the sound of this thing . I'm on my 2nd one now . The first one I had to destroy because it refused to "read " the disc . I blamed it on my cats and the hard floor . But the new one is acting funny - I may have to introduce it to the pavement .

Hello , what do you think about limited too portable cd player it's good one or only for kids ?
@DivineFate9004 ай бұрын
Whats sucks about newer models is although they got cool features that older models don't have, it doesn't give you the option to shut off the shock protection because while it does continue to play even though you take a jog, hit a bump or even tap it, it doesn’t really give you the best cd quality sound since it is stored in a compressed audio. That's why I prefer older models that play directly from a CD. But if you want to listen to it wherever you go, this is the one.

Nice.. I found at a thrift store a very unique portable DVD/CD player that resembles a "discman" type. It brand is ez Gear PL100. It supports Super Audio CD, HDCD, MP4, DTS, Dolby Digital.. Not much information on it online besides an older listing on Amazon as one review mentioned it's price at $189.19 at the time in 2009.. It was suppose to be used with a goggle glasses to simulate a 50 foot screen illusion. It works great after I charged the gummy type rechargeable battery or powers on 12V 1000ma..

I have a Pioneer DVD player with Super Audio CD playback, but that feature is quite rare on portables! Great list of features, although the google glass thing ended up being a no-go! Super cool thrift find! You should post a vid!

@@ThriftyAV I'll do one soon. I need to find my video cable 3.5mm to rca. Curious how it would play on my TV. It does read a DVD disk and starts playing automatically. When it reads an audio CD it goes to track 1 and plays as you push the play button. There is a listing on eBay for the ez Goggles used but the seller is asking a small fortune $119.00.. I did read the goggle eye wear was a not so good concept.
