Similar for me! Got my Royal Enfield Classic 350 in March after a 35+ year break. Agree with all the benefits. As I'm sure many of us in our later years do when discovering or rediscovering the enjoyment on 2 wheels (+ internal combustion engine)!

@@YiddoHuayi I had a bunch of different bikes when I was young but my first two were a 1971 (?) Honda 450 followed by a 1973(?) Yamaha 650. When I decided to get a motorcycle again there were a lot of different types to choose from but I kept gravitating back to the good old spoke wheel, air cooled twins. Choices were the Kawasaki W800, the Moto Guzzi V7 Special and the Royal Enfield 650 Interceptor. The latter was unavailable in my area unfortunately. Sat on both of the others and chose the Guzzi simply because it was more comfortable. Getting my sea legs back with about 500 miles on the clock now. I have recently found a RE dealer about an hour away who has an Interceptor. Big Blue Motorcycle Dog has a rule: No more motorcycles after fifty. So I have forty nine more to go.

I took up motorcycle riding 3 years ago and it is definitely good for the soul. My Rebel 1100’s name is Princess Leia. I liked her so much that I got a second motorcycle. It’s a 23 Yamaha XRS900. That bike scratches my need for speed when I’m feeling risqué.
