The cool factor is through the roof on this one since it plays the OG Cartridges on a mobile device. Sure there are other devices in the same under $100 price that are more powerful or more versatile but this is a branded and licensed product that plays the actual original games you already love and have in your retro library. So congrats to all who pick this up as a way to play those games on the go now. Thanks PDubs 👊🏻🕹️😎

Hi Pat, thanks for the upload. This is decent for the price, but I'm not pulling the trigger on this one because the screen isn't big enough. For those of us that are spoiled by having an OLED Switch, with the Genesis greatest hits cart + the Genesis online expansion.... it just really spoils it for anything else. As a collector, I have all of the origional carts and Genesis models 1&2 and core system... so,,, no. However, if someone were to come out with a handheld with an oled screen, as big as the switch oled, that played carts, I would pay up to 200.00 for it. Same goes for a handheld that would have ps1 games built in, like twisted metal 2, etc.

If it's pulling the roms off your cartridge, curious, does it make those roms accessible for transfer to other devices? Just curious if I could use it to backup my own games?

@@jimharper5710 no, the ROM Dumping is just a term that it pulls the rom from the cart to run it via software emulation, it doesn't actually save it on the handheld.

I went ahead and ordered this knock-off Wish version of a Nomad. If the battery life is better than 3 hours, I will call it a win. Plus, no AAs.

Kind of cool but if people are interested in an emulation handheld with no carts Anbernic has a sega model called the RG Arc, I highly recommend it. This handheld doesn’t have the sega d pad. Thank god unico didn’t make a sega handheld they would just make it 4 buttons with analog sticks.

Emulation is poor for Genesis games it's very apparent when playing Batman. 😢

There are two cons for this one. 1. I have heard that this will not play Flash Cartridges such as the Everdrive or the Mega SD. 2. You can't play 2 player games.
