I am so excited for this new notion build series! I am a new sub to the channel and I've been loving the videos so far. I have been trying to create my own notion system from scratch but then get overwhelmed with everything and your videos have been so helpful in this process. This is FANTASTIC! And I have to say that I love your videos. The enthusiasm, the explanations, the professional editing... These are the best videos on Notion yet, IMO. Most explain it as though someone already has experience. I have zero. Nada. Your videos answer a lot of questions and don't make me feel like I've been under a rock for several years. Okay, so when it comes to knowledge base apps I have, but shhhh! Looong time GTD and productivity fan here. Using a hybrid digital/paper version. I worried that Notion would be far too fiddly and I'd spend more time tweaking than doing. Perhaps that's not the case now! You're such a time-saver! Thank you, Simon. Truly. You asked for a list. Well... - A distraction tracker! A modified version of Nir Eyal's awesome idea. - Books! Get more from the books I've read. Not just an "I've read this" but something that allows for copious notes /highlights from Kindle books. - A Self-Care tracker. Monitor things like water, sleep, food amount/quality, exercise, etc. I love the paper version I've created. Happy to hand it over. - Ideas. I'm a writer. Ideas come and go, but it would be nice to see them in a list, all in one place, instead of my paper version. - Plant care. Apparently, I kill things that aren't fictional. Ask the azaleas. And the mums. There are other things I've planted and now have no idea what they are. Some look suspiciously like weeds. - Subscriptions! Boy! Do they pile up! - Quote keeper/Organizer. In fact, how cool would it be to have a random daily quote pop up on your workspace? - Home/Car maintenance. What, where, when, how much, and a field to link back to the file location (I keep them local).

Absolutely love this! You're a wonderful teacher and I've enjoyed your build videos that I've followed along with. I've tried templates before but think I'm better suited to building and knowing the bits and pieces myself (Although your Stoic Notion was a fantastic purchase!). What a GREAT Idea! I’m a nutritionist and I'd love to help building a complete “wellness dashboard” (yeah awesome name, I know 🤣 ) with both workout and nutrition inputs, kcal balance, weight loss (or gain) goals and progress tracker.. I’ve already built a basic tracker for my job and some meal plan templates, but I’m sure you’d do better than me ^^ As for some suggestions, I’m thinking about a student dashboard template and some way to see sub-tasks (as roll ups, maybe?) related to a main task in the same database

A while back (pre-COVID, so don’t exactly know how many years, it’s been a blur) I started doing bullet journaling to structure my tasks, mind and to-do’s and such. It was great! Until one day some people stole my backpack out of my car when I was paying for petrol at a highway petrol station near Milan and I lost all motivation to start again because I lost all my progress and haven’t done such a thing to date. New to Notion (and that's YOUR fault!), so I don't know what I don't know. 😉 I'd follow the series mostly to learn how to do things so I can also create some Notion workspaces. I've a few ideas rolling around my head and figure that if I can learn how to develop them and perhaps also sell the workspaces on the Gumroad site, then who knows...? I, too, may become a Notion multi-millionaire like you! 😄

Hi Simon! I’ve got your Complete 2.0 or whatever that’s called. Can I do the Big Notion Build-Along using that, or should I download something else? The Simplified version perhaps? I’ve had NOTION for awhile now, but have not yet fully dived in, opting instead to stick with my Bullet Journal while I invest the time to figure out the basics of NOTION via your trainings and templates. It seems that your “Build Along” may be just the ticket I need in order to build some basic NOTION skills and feel more confident using it to meet my needs (2nd, 3rd, 4th brains… LOL). Just to clarify… Are you saying that the “full package” I got from you can still live within my NOTION account, and I can do the “build along” with you, within the same Notion account? I don’t know how to not mess up what I already have going (which isn’t much, obviously, but I’d prefer to not muck it up). This “build along” will happen in another area of NOTION? I am not understanding my own question well, so I do apologize for not spitting it out well enough for you to grasp it… I’ll try again: Someone brand new to NOTION who wants to do this Build Along, might not have any other templates in their app. I have yours, and a couple from an artist. I don’t want to mess those up while doing the build along, and I don’t know how to not mess them up while starting the build along. Will you cover *that*… how to not kill the earlier work? I haven’t made any new pages, so maybe that’s the answer… I can leave the previous stuff “as is” and just start a “new page” somehow to follow your build along? It can’t possibly be THAT easy, can it? REALLY?! Show me, please. Perhaps you can do a “short” with a quickie demo that says something like, “Look! You can have my full system, you can have other templates, you can even have other pages you’ve already created, and you can STILL just start a New Page and do this Build Along with me” if that’s how easy it truly can be. IF that’s the case, I honestly can’t thank you enough for putting in the time and energy to help me clear the fog and dig my way out of the muddled mess currently spinning my synapses sideways. Oh yeah, by the way, I forgot to tell you that you changed my life in another way as well. I now call myself an Artist. Thanks for that. I completely shifted multiple things in my life, including the trajectory of my career, after watching that video, so thanks for that. Great to read - yeah that’s the idea: I want to do a few bits over the next months and then launch the first chunk of ‘modules’ in Jan so it coincides with people starting goal setting and setting up their year. Then build more in new year. :)

If you are newer to Notion - this is a better place to start: it’s simpler and accessible but still has good key features - tasks and projects / journal / habit tracking / goal setting. It’s older, but I will be updating it soon too - and all owners of the template will get access offered. :) If you are happy for a more involved onboarding / more experienced in Notion - in order to get loads of additional functionality for task management, and all the other features (finance tracker / notes and knowledge databases / contact manager / today view / PARA Dashboard / more advanced habit tracker) - then go for the Life OS! Hope that helps! :)

Hi Igor: yes - since A Simplified Notion is a condensed version of the Complete Notion template with a couple of tweaks - I’m only sending the email out to the people who downloaded the original smaller version of a simplified Notion. I will be updating the complete and productive versions later in the year for you to re access with some of the smaller aesthetic changes and to new Notion features -so you might find waiting for that is best. But Email me directly if you would like to start fresh with this smaller version. Thanks!
