Tip for the future: burning skull spell Pierce gates. Start siege riding to gate , cast spell. Result: *insert that's a lot of damage meme.

I find it works best to put your mage companions in their own squad and give them F1->F4 engage. Usually put the bright wizard in his very own group and keep him way separated from everyone else. They like to cast fireball as soon as they spawn in and if he is slightly behind your other wizards they're all down right at the start.

😆 I thought Cinder Blast was going to be a fire based spell but it looked like an ice or earth based spell

I feel like mages need spellcraft books the most. You put 5 focus points in, spend a bit of cash and just powerlevel it to Adept level spells, and after that it's smooth sailing. Leveling with Novice level spells is such a slog Edit: one handed staff + 1hsword is really good, all of the casting and decent damage. Hard to find such a staff though

ok so something blew my mind; i contracted an elf spell singer and went to upgrade her spells and got the option to become an elf magic wizard too! and then i was able to get TWO more magic lores. mind blown

None, afaik it’s just an amalgamation of the lore so all the factions can exist within the confine of Bannerlord, I think she exists so that way franz can have kids and the faction doesn’t fall apart if he dies early
