Charles!! Thank you again for getting down to the heart of the matter; Gaia IS a living being who deserves all our love care and RESPECT. Its so very obvious to those of us whose senses are awake. But why didn't some kind person in the room give you some water when your voice was giving out?!

Thanks for the comment, and your concern - Charles was given water a couple of times, we just thought that distraction didn't need to be in the final video edit ;)

Fake Climate Change is the covert supplement to the fake war on terror. Climate action Central banker rothschill of ww1 ww11 owns pg&e / world wide utilities and now collaborates with mce marin clean energy, so every house has a so called "clean energy" provider since 1/18. They covered our beautiful healing sun with a fake glaring bright white sun with built in chemtrails / a fake clean energy geo satelitte weapon: "An orbiting mirror beaming powerful RF to giant solar farms with deployments of Al oxide." I saw it happen and saw the patent with the same launch date, as when I saw it happen 8 months later. They don't give a shit about the environment, or our health. They lie and they own the smart phones. i.e. The Pentagon's New Map for Greater Connectivity also displaces millions of migrants i.e. 1.5 million sent to Germany and Sweden in 2015 alone, given iphones. Also the recent migrants at the S. border given smart phones. Military grade weapons system. Creepy Jews are pushing The Kalegri Plan White Genocide.

Excellent, as always! Everything Charles writes or speaks about resonates with me. I have been attempting to illustrate the very same message (the need for more community involvement, or even community-driven, conservation efforts) where I live for a few months. I think sharing this video might help me to effectively convey the message. Thank you Charles!!!

The thing about the question "how much CO2 does a tree capture" is that you can't put a fixed number on it. The collective impact of a forest is more than the sum of the trees. The collective impact through a virtuous cycle of increasing growth of healthy ecosystems, or a destructive cycle of death of ecosystems, can increase exponentially, as feedback loops increase what is already there...

As I have watched so many presentations on how to deal with the dangers of climate change there is a persistent reference to indigenous wisdom which I think is worthy yet in some sense out of context with the reality we are dealing with today. The indigenous worlds of thousands of years ago did not have a choice about how to deal with the environment nor the knowledge to understand it as far as its importance and how it would be impacted by our actions thousands of years into the future - they just survived in it and worshipped it via the god metaphors!! We need to take the indigenous wisdoms and translate them into meaningful metaphors and stories for todays world and teach the general public about how important it is to recognize that we have powers today not based on gods but on motivations that in many cases we are unconscious of. We need a New Story to help us grieve for our present state of being and to internallize a new way of being in the world as a whole!!

I don't think modern times are the first time that people have destroyed their environment. For example, Plato, 2,000 years ago, described the process of water erosion due to deforestation! Plato, in his unfinished work Critias, wrote about a war between the residents of Atlantis and Athens-led inhabitants of the continent which had supposedly taken place 9000 years prior to Plato's discussion. Alongside the idealized description of fabled Atlantis there is in the work such a rudely and realistically captured process of water erosion following the devastation of the forests around Athens that one can't help getting the impression that Plato wrote about something he was seeing with his own eyes: "…The land was the best in the world… in those days the country was fair as now and yielded far more abundant produce… Many great deluges have taken place during the 9000 years...and during all this time and through so many changes, there has never been any considerable accumulation of the soil coming down from the mountains, as in other places, but the earth has fallen away all round and sunk out of sight. What happened is like a body growing thin to the bone as a consequence of an illness. All the richer and softer parts of the soil have fallen away, and there remains the mere skeleton of the land. But in the primitive state of the country, its mountains were high hills covered with soil, and the plains, as were full of rich earth. There was abundance of wood in the mountains. Of this the last traces still remain. Although some of the mountains now only afford sustenance to bees, not so very long ago there were still to be seen roofs of timber cut from trees growing there, which were of a size sufficient to cover the largest houses; and there were many other high trees, cultivated by man and bearing abundance of food for cattle. Moreover, the land reaped the benefit of the annual rainfall, not as now losing the water which flows off the bare earth into the sea, but, having an abundant supply in all places, and receiving it into herself and treasuring it up in the close clay soil, it let off into the hollows the streams which it absorbed from the heights, providing everywhere abundant fountains and rivers, of which there may still be observed sacred memorials in places where fountains once existed; and this proves the truth of what I am saying…” www.waterparadigm.org/download/Water_for_the_Recovery_of_the_Climate_A_New_Water_Paradigm.pdf

The background image is some trees, the same cover that is on Charles's book "The More Beautiful World Our Hearts Know is Possible". Or if you're referring to the mountain at the beginning, that's Mount Everest.

Given that CE likes the Edmund H theme it’s looks like a somewhat stylised version of Ti tree or Manuka forests common in NZ. Indigenous scrub and smells great too. Native bees feast and pollinate from them and create a distinctive honey flavour claimed to have extra healing power.
