Ok so admittedly I am only 18 minutes into the conversation but honestly, although I respect and like both of these guy’s work, I cannot believe how I’m hearing you both talk of ‘not being allowed’ really!! There can be no one controlling another unless by agreement and I’m not speaking here of aggressively fighting them off. I’m speaking to the knowing of being born sovereign to this life, to being the one that knows best for me, to trusting the body I’ve been given, to trusting there is no way I could be a so-called carrier! To trusting the life force flowing through me and that time when I depart this form. 💜

One of the best RR podcasts and discussions in general I've heard in a long time. I strongly resonate with the idea Rich coins "quantum agency" (Charles references a concept which I didn't catch but will go back to capture). I think we all know that feeling of doing good in the world and seeing others do good almost by a cosmic twist. It's really hard to articulate, but it's as if we are able to bring things into broader awareness and reality simply by believing and acting "as if." Perhaps we as a global society have been unable to shift paradigms precisely because the individual (each of us) hasn't precipitated the possibility in our own experience of reality. Again, so hard to put into words what I'm thinking...

The constant fear experiment that we are facing is making us choose between security and the feeling of safety and our liberty. The things that make us human is being put up on a shelf. We need to ask ourselves, judging by the data coming in everyday, whether all that we are losing is necessary in the face of a virus that is mild in at least 99% of the time. We are losing our freedoms, our autonomy, our sanity, our ability to support ourselves and continue to give power hungry institutions more ammunition to take more power for themselves. But that’s on the political and scientific end. On the spiritual and cultural end this is a moment where we can to dictate what is to come by the choices we make today. Make no mistake about it, there are forces which will have you believe you do not have that choice and instead push to have that choice made for you, but they are wrong, only you choose.
I’ve been telling people for two weeks now that if you’re wearing a mask, you’re refusing your upgrade. People look at me like I have two heads, of course. But having Asperger’s, I’m pretty used to it. People have been looking at me like I have two heads for 52 years.

1:21:45 very nice. One of my favorite books from back in the day is Illuminatus! By Wilson and Shea, an irreverently hilarious, disjointed odyssey through every fringe topic you can think of, disguised as a mystery novel that reveals (among countless other things) the meaning of life. The ability to say no. Just as Charles paraphrases at the above timecode (and I’m meta-paraphrasing here), it all boils down to having the capacity to choose.
@Jen.K3 жыл бұрын
"Spiritual" people talk about being an eternal spirit having a human experience, which seems to be a somewhat helpful and positive story to be telling ourselves. When I was a child and young adult I saw myself as a separate individual, because that's the way my culture defined me. I ''felt' like a separate individual, that was my experience of life. Then I discovered a bunch of new age ideas and decided I was an eternal soul or spirit temporarily inhabiting this body, but I was still a separate, individual soul or spirit, seeking externally to grow, evolve expand. Then suddenly one day the external seeking dropped away, I had the shocking realization that this moment, right here is all there ever is, and that 'I' don't really even exist. From that moment, my culturally constructed ego started to disintegrate. Everything I knew to be true about myself and life and the world started crumbling, until there was nothing except a moment by moment flow of life around this body and through this body. It took several years for this process to complete and then several more years to integrate and learn how to live in this new way. What I'm saying is that adopting a new set of beliefs or cognitively broadening or changing your perspective, while it may be an improvement, it's not enough. Its more about letting go of all beliefs, all stories and all certainty about everything. An actual evolutionary transformation, beyond our control takes place. In fact, all illusion of control falls away and we see there never was any control in the first place and that everything we ever thought or believed was a story, just one possibility among many. There is no control, no separation and no individual self, there never was. The culturally programmed illusions fall away, and we are left with the truth. It's not an easy transition, there can be a lot of fear. What we are is not a thing, but part of an interconnected process which operates through our individual body/brain/mind system. We are life, we are not living a life. We don't have a life, we are the very experience of life itself. Cognitively understanding this is one thing, but the experience of it is another thing entirely. It's just not possible for a culturally conditioned human to embrace this way of living fully until all the cultural conditioning has fallen away, leaving nothing but the bare truth of reality. As a species, humans are still evolving, until more people have achieved this leap in evolution, we will remain a species in chaos, at risk of our own extinction.

Thank you!" to something Charles or Rich said, those things I already felt deeply but hadn't been able to put a name on or elucidate...but also those important reminders that not everyone is going to be fired up to turn this crazy experiment we call humanity in a better direction, and that is fine. Maybe we have the only chance we will ever see for non violent revolution...but that's a monumental task. I have heard other presentations by Charles which I have found inspirational. However, today I am deeply disappointed by his suggestion that protecting the elderly and vulnerable is somehow being done at the cost of others’ freedoms. This is an unfortunate idea. It was made worse by his suggestion that this is being done because society doesn’t believe in an afterlife. No, this is an untrue perception of compassion. Compassionate ethics holds all life as equally precious and special. The elderly have given us a great deal of wisdom and gifts. Protecting them from a lethal disease is as important as protecting young people. I detected notions of dystopian conspiracy in what he said too. I’m truly disappointed Charles
@Sam-ug4xt4 жыл бұрын
You cannot prevent death. Yes the elderly life should be respected but not at the cost of young people yet to live theirs. Irrevocable change is occurring, freedoms that might never be gained back freedoms that the current elderly population were allowed. Those children of the baby boomers. Old people get sicker than young people. People who's bodies are getting tired, who eat pesticide laden food, have chronic stress, are depressed, smoke, drink, live in areas with high air pollution, take prescribed medications, like painkillers or statins etc.... More at risk from any illness no matter what. You cannot treat the symptom, the virus is the symptom. And lockdowns do not change the general state of health of people for the better, if anything peoples mental health has deteriorated ridiculously.
@Sam-ug4xt4 жыл бұрын
You should probably read his article the Myth of conspiracy. I think people have become emotionally attached to the idea that we can prevent death and illness by simply distancing from each other. What kind of life is that?? Maybe for the old who don't mind being by themselves who have had their fun. But everyone in reality lives to love others. We want to bask in each others company, touch, sing dance, we have inalienable rights. Knowing that only 1% of people who get covid die "with" what about - 1 in 3 people get cancer...?? 33% and I'll bet you the death rate is higher.. People still drink and smoke and do all sorts that heightens this risk. Its the sudden obsession with risk at the expense of actual living and loving. Honestly how long are you willing to wait this out, what are you willing to give up so that someone can have 2 more years added onto their 85 year life?? How many young people have committed suicide this year? It hasn't been compiled yet I don't believe... But it will be a huge number. Even with the plague it was obvious that it was spread because of uncleanness, crowded, malnourished society. Spanish flu to affect people around ww1, mass trauma, rationing, chemical weapons, stress.its incomparable because It caused actual illness in 50%+ of people... A lot high than covid
@bluegreenworld3332 жыл бұрын
I believe we did not serve the elderly by abandoning them in nursing and care homes, cutting them off from their families and I personally lost someone April 2020 who I was unable to see for 45 days as he died, alone and who was returned to the care home on his deathbed and we were not permitted Serving the elderly is keeping them close and loved in their family units to their end.

Are humans an organ of the Earth? Why are we allowed to carry so much responsibility for the well-being of the planet?
@mondopinion37774 жыл бұрын
Beautiful question, Sidilicious. Yes we are indeed an organ of Earth. I believe our biological purpose (perhaps not the only purpose) is to build a technology to shield the planet from meteor impacts. It is extremely hard for animal brain and flesh to do this. I have had beautiful dreams about the future, and we are still fully human as we do tech together, and Nature is healthy. The Bible is a kind of DNA guiding this process (see The Great Code by Northrup Frye, The Gifts of the Jews by Cahill). (see on KZbin how ancient Chinese pictographs and the ancient Hebrew Bible are based on the same compelling stories.) There is an evil power at the root of human society ( perhaps there in part to drive the development of technology) and deep down, where we are all joined in one field of consciousness, it drags on every one of us. And destroys Nature. When the time comes and it is overcome, we will be Earth's keeper. Maybe this is how planets evolve and give birth. Maybe we are unique. I don't know . . WWG1WGA
