I have bought 3 of the starter boxes, and 10 packs. Its Very Niche, The blockchain means nothing to me, But I like these cards. Each time I bought a box, they included a lovely hand written letter thanking me for my support. 90% of the cards are not the popular dinosaurs, be prepared to get a lot of turtles, and lizards you never heard of before. Thats a double edged sword, but a plus for me.

IMHO the Starter box is the better Deal, On amazon its $38, comes with 6 packs, breaks down to about 6.33 per pack, or you can just buy the packs at $6.99 each

I hate that TCG's are just a battle of wallets, seeing who can pay more for cards, so I stay far away from them and stick to living card games (LCG's), such as Marvel Champions and Arkham Horror, where it is a fraction of the price and I get all the cards, no need to go buy a hundred packs to search for one rare card.

Agreed. I only do LCGs and Deck Builders these days. This game looks fantastic and I would be ALL IN if it were a LCG or Deck Builder. But unfortunately it's that predatory TCG/CCG business model. 😢
