(no spoilers here, but ...) DO NOT SKIP THIS SECOND HALF OF SEASON 4 OR IT WILL BITE YOU IN THE ASS LATER!! TRUST ME!! The second half of Season 4 almost feels like "filler." It isn't. By a long shot. It's all canon, and there's some important development happening that WILL pay off spectacularly. Besides, after the craziness of part one, these students deserve something light to occupy their time and spirits, right? Also, the last two episodes will get back to the "hype" parts, and is SO worth the wait. Regarding Season 5: the reason some viewers regard it as "dogsh***" is that most "manga readers" were pissed off at how the story was rearranged from how it originally appeared in the manga. (It threw off the original rhythm and menace of later storytelling in Season 5 to the point that they had to make it up in Season 6, because their story cuts almost bit them in the ass - we'll all probably explain where and how when you get there.) And a key part of Season 5 was truncated due to the Production Committee (the money people, not the actual animation producers) being nervous about having "Villains" be in the spotlight for an extended period of time. If you're anime-only, this really doesn't matter much in the long run. Both mediums told the same story, just in a different way. Further, Season 5 was animated & produced during the initial Covid shutdowns, so there were delays and accommodations to get the shows made. There was even 1-2 episodes that were finished just before they were scheduled to air. All said, Season 5 was good for what they were able to produce during that scrambled time. And it sets us up nicely at the end for what will be the most pivotal season of the entire series (Season 6). If you must, go ahead and do 2-3 episodes in your reaction summaries, but DON'T SKIP! You'll be rewarded later on.

The second part of season 4 is actually really worth watching for the feels, so take your time man, don’t be pressured by others (cough, @Agent-57) to rush through episodes without paying attention to character development.

Glad I'm not the only one who loves the School Festival Arc. It's pretty underrated since it's not super serious like the Shie Hassaikai Arc but it's still great and the next two villains, who I will not name for spoiler reasons, are both great and pretty charismatic. Not to mention the general emotional importance this next arc has

Late s4 and s5 honestly are underrated. They’re both good arcs if you understand what’s happening. It’s really the calm arcs before the storms of hell approach and sets up a ton of things. Plus you know what happens in s5 😏

People who don't like the end of Season 4 don't understand its importance for Izuku's character development, and people who dont like Season 5 are usually manga purists who don't like that the two arcs got swapped in Season 5.

Admittedly, the only thing I don't like about season 5 is that they cut out my favorite part of MVA, but I didn't hate the swap. Tbh, I actually think MVA works better at the end. All in all, I actually quite like season 5.

Everything from here is build up for season 6 so enjoy! Late season 4 and season 5 are all about development for the entire cast and the world of MHA. The reason why they get so much hate is because the stakes are much lower compared to the arcs we just watched. But the stakes skyrocket in season 6, so all of that development is very necessary.

If it's about views then feel free to skip those if you feel like it would just waste your time. If it's about worrying if people hate it then consider this: later S4 is more tame than the first part and a LOT of people can't appreciate what it stands for, it's still very good in my opinion. Skipping S5 is downright ridiculous, can't imagine why people would even consider it. Even if "Season 5 has far less viewership" or whatever, people who watch your reactions (rather than those who just so happened to stumble here on accident) will definitely be grateful if you don't skip

MHA usually has really high stakes arcs followed by a low stakes arc to give the audience and characters time to breathe before getting back into the chaos. Some people just don't like those lower stakes arcs as much. But I mean, they aren't "garbage" or bad. It's always important to give character development and growth. That way, when you get that big fight scene, it's not just, "Hey, this fight looks cool" it's a buildup of everything that's come before. Imagine if the show skipped the first two seasons and the show started off with All Might VS AFO. Absolutely amazing fight. But it would mean so much less if we didn't know them as the characters they are. Moving on though. Gigantomachia actually appeared way back just after Stain's arrest, and more recently during Kirishima's flashback. In that flashback, he was looking for the Springer Hero Agency, and one of All For One's quirks in his battle with All Might was Spring-Like Limbs. So we can imagine he found the Agency after all.

I feel like 4 and 5 is a bit slow, but it's worth it because its the build up to the amazing insane action packed 6 season. Your getting your character deployment and more school stuff and it really makes the world more real. That being said if you wanted to go faster on those maybe fit in 2 episodes at a time no one would complain. 6th season is going to be an event. Like you might want to livestream binge that one. It's crazy and worth every other slow episode.

Second part of season 4 and season 5 are not that bad. You need to watch it if you are gonna watch season 6 which i think is the best season. Those who are telling you to not watch it probably didn't understand the purpose of the season and how the things in season 6 happened. I prefer to not skip them. Eri's Quirk can rewind an entire body. However, as proven by how Overhault was able to create the bullets, Rewind can be used to only rewind certain parts of a living being body. So, in theory, it's possible for Eri to rewind only Mirio's Quirk factor, instead of his entire body.

Some people dislike the second part of S4, but I honestly enjoyed it, it was like a nice break from all the crazy stuff. First part of S5 might get boring, and second part I'm sure it'll be fine if you're an anime only watcher.

I actually love the second part of Season 4, it’s the last time they get to breathe and be kids before shit just goes downhill. The calm before the storm. S5a is fantastic for learning more about 1B and seeing everyone’s improvement, S5b is just generally awesome with shit tons of backstory and S6 is the absolute GOAT! The second part of season 4 and season 5 are definitely NOT dog shit. This series doesn't try to constantly bombard you with insane stuff, it saves the craziness for specific arcs so it hits harder. This is a series about being heroes AND being school kids. After this arc, we needed something more fun to recover, as well as time to build up how insanely intense season 6 will be. In fact, this coming season and a half will be necessary for the back half of season 6 to work properly, there needs to be a "normal" to fight for. People who say they hate seasons 4 and 5 are boring people and you can safely ignore them, because if they had their way this show would suck.

By far my hottest take is that season 2 is my least favorite season. I personally like seasons 4 and 5 a bit more because of the character moments. They've got problems, but my experience watching them was way nicer than season 2 oddly enough.

Season 4s second arc is honestly one of the most imporant arcs, the same with season 5 SPOILERS: Season 4 is when deku learns to use a higher ofa percentage on JUST the impact. From 8% to a sudden 20%. It helps him in fights. They help Eri, and deku gets new gloves whch hels him in fights. Also the villans in the festival arc will be imporant for later. In Season 5 is when deku unlocks a new quirk, its what starts everything that helps deku get even stronger to fight shigaraki. He learns alot from endeavor, even lets his ofa percentage up to 30% by training with him. If u guys want a reason and/or a video to why season 4s festival arc is imporant then watch AsarathaHS video on it

S4 part 2 is slow, and kinda boring to me. But its not unwatchable (the villain was the meh). The last 2 episodes are fire tho. And season 5 part 1 is also kinda meh exept for like 2 or 3 episodes. But the second part is really good, and season 6 is by far the best season of MHA, and when it was airing was my favorite anime of the season
