Threats, violence, all of it should always be unacceptable, period. That said, Trudeau and his government have blatantly lied, falsely vilified many, and acted unlawfully on numerous occasions, at historic levels. That behaviour in no way justifies violence but they’re far from innocent victims, often contributing to the anger and frustration. They’ve never “turned down the temperature” but often exploited divisiveness for political gain. Law enforcement has also been heavily exploited by them that seriously erodes public confidence, that’s already a constant challenge for policing at the best of times. The media should focus on truth, facts, and political accountability for ALL politicians, instead of political loyalty if they truly care and want to recover the credibility they gave up for Liberal favouritism.

This is a mass profiling disaster in the making. I've personally had Premier Doug Ford send a group of Windsor Police Officers against me for open-public "trial by cop" at Tecumseh Mall on a falsified suicide reaction, several months after a web form communication was sent during COVID-19 regarding legislated poverty as a disability, for seeminly political purposes, and the lead police officer used was being covered by the Windsor Star as having just come out of court for misconduct. We should never forget that the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms bears only demonstrable justification as a possible limit on Fundamental Freedoms, and that's an extremely high bar when also in the Charter is the right to communicate with Parliamentarians in English and French, which means all thoughts, beliefs, opinions and experiences, no matter how diversified, are 100% legal. Ontario's constitution is a functioning clone of the federal draft, so municipalities must abide by it also, if not in precise wording but absolutely in practice and principle. Sticks and stones may break my bones, but names will never hurt me. You call the police when the stones are thrown, not when a person is talking about the throwing of stones when they have a constitutional right and freedom to. Being upset has a legal right to color our words accordingly because that's democracy. The police are not our elected representatives. They are not entitled to our constituency communications unless they are involved directly in a political matter, which shouldn't usually be the case. To see the RCMP criminalizing free speech here is the pursuit of thought crime. Canadians are not criminals because they think in ways the government doesn't like them to.
