I just got WolfQuest the other day and I’m so excited to finally share my own stories with this community! My first wolf is Phoenix who lost his parents when he was still a pup, wildlife conservationists found him and rescued him to be rehabilitated and released into Yellow stone. For his first few days on amethyst mountain he struggled to kill at least one elk calf, they always managed to escape his grasp simply because he didn’t have the health to finish the hunt; those elk mothers really know how to kick! Almost taunting him they would hold their ground stomping to show their confidence that he wasn’t a wolf worth stressing over. Confidence low after many failed attempts at hunting whether it be elk or deer Phoenix desperately needed food. He stumbled upon a cougar guarding a carcass and despite being a more cowardly and cautious wolf, hunger drove him to fight for it. With a few growls and snarls he managed to scare off the cougar and finally sleep for a night with a full stomach. Healed and ready to go he caught scent of that same herd that always managed to escape his grasp before, full of newfound confidence Phoenix tracked down the Rabbitbush herd and by luck targeted the same elk calf that escaped him before, finish the hunt with a final bite he howls loudly in victory. Unfortunately he couldn’t guard his spoils forever for the next time he woke next to his carcass a giant bear mother with her cub were present. Poor Phoenix!

Maybe as a name for Basil's mate could be Asteria? Asteria is the goddess of shooting stars and nighttime divination, so I think it would be perfect. Other names are Stella, Estrella, Star, Asteri, Lupus, and Leto. Stella= star in latin, Estrella= star in spanish, Asteri= star in greek, Lupus= wolf constellation, Leto= goddess of wolves.
