@@thatlastwolf248 Well I've been in pupcam lots of times when predators came. You have plenty of time to react, click the woof button and you stand up immediately as you bark. So you standing up is only a fraction of a second and then you carry on as normal.

Basil let out a long howl, breathing in the fresh air. Spring had blossomed up and grown into a grassy plateu outside his den. He heard squeaks and yelped in surpirse as four pups scrambled out of his den. Now that he could see them in the sunlight, they all looked so different. Rosetta was a pale yellowish blonde, her curly fur sticking out as she dashed outside. Mouse and Badger shoved past them, their twin chestnut brown pelts shining in the sunlight. Argon leapt out from behind them and tackled Badger, his fur the color of pine bark. Basil growled happily and wagged his tail, bending down playfully to see the pups. They crowded around him, mewling for food. Life was good, he thought. Life was good.

My favorite pups are Rosetta and Badger. Badger seems like the guy who has the most honor, is the most serious, and if he was human he would like reading. Rosetta is loyal and proud. She is also an explorer, and a fast learner.

I do think it's quite interesting that so far the Dark Moon Pack has had litters on the smaller side. If it turns out that Demeter has a larger litter it's going to be even more intriguing! While right now Wolf Quest doesn't allow the player to have large family packs, (Obviously there's just the raising your pup phase until Tower Fall comes out someday,) I like to imagine that the Dark Moon and Dawn Moon packs have different hunting strategies while the pups are still under 2 years old and contributing to the pack. :) My headcanon is that the Dark Moon pack likes to hunt during the dark, where smaller numbers don't matter as much because they can use the advantage of the prey's limited sight. The Dawn Moon pack however likes to hunt during the day, where their larger numbers are effective at crowding in and confusing the prey because whatever they're hunting can see them moving all over the place and doesn't know where to run. Again, just a headcanon lol.

Update on Drake, Hawks pup: He just found a mate! Her name Fronsa! She looks a lot like a husky- she is super strong too. They hunted an elk and Fronsa just went for a one shot and almost killed the elk-(The elk was already sorta wounded) they’re now establishing territory and they’ve got a good part of the Dark Lake Packs territory but they want some of Prospect peak’s territory too. Fronsa likes meadows, water, and rocks so I’m aiming to get a rocky den, in the meadows, near the water. Though Drake found some rock dens but their not in the meadows and Fronsa really wants a den in a meadow. I feel we’ll be expecting some pups soon!!! If you guys have name suggestions for the pups put it in the reply’s. I’m planning to do a flower or bird theme for the pups.

Man, I was hit with a wave of nostalgia when I saw Deermoss. That den is actually my Pack’s (The Red Warriors) ancestral den! Though for the Red Warriors it’s called Hidden Crack. It’s a really beautiful area and it’s definitely the fav of all the den’s I’ve had so far. Do be warned though Seri, Deermoss is quite far from other dens, I actually lost two of my pups to coyotes when moving dens (I got caught in an unlucky area with no grass nearby..) so do be careful when Basil and his family have to move eventually!

9:44 when pups wander to follow mate, double howl to call mate back. the pups are trying to either play with the wandering parent, or get (more) food from them. you still might have to go fetch a pup, but... and, I spotted an eagle in the sky when you were bringing pups back to den entrance. It is a good idea to woof the ones there to safety while you fetch the "lost" ones.

Seri, the pup wandering is a bug. They fixed it in the new beta though. But yeah, mates immediately try to run off after having pups (which is a bug) and the pups try to follow them (also a bug.)

Update with Alicia: So she and Coal had finally picked a den. (That I think is Achilles den, but I ain't totally sure) they had 6 wolf pups and 1 is a white pup. Already like the first 5 seconds of the pups first time outside Marigold ran away....Thank you Coal I am gonna have a word with you. We already have a runt as one is much smaller than the rest. I have an amazing update about Hawk and his mate Riverine, they had their litter of SEVEN pups! 5 little boys and two girls! Rex, Bunyoro, Cashmere, Pygmy, Deilenaar, Lop and Annamite! With our biggest being Cashmere and Annamite with Cashmere being 6 pounds already and his sister not far behind him at 5.9 pounds. We also have our two smallest boys being Bunyoro and Pygmy. Pygmy being the smallest at 4.6 pounds and Bunyoro being 4.7 pounds. We have taken on the mate quest of always including her in our hunts! I noticed she was very driven to hunt and thought it would be a fun challenge to very hunt alone judging how these two are attached at the hip. The pups as of right now insist on fighting and crowding over food even when more food is sitting right behind them.

Good news, since Basil only has four pups, he will need less food, and will need to hunt less, therefore he can spend a lot of his time with his pups! I feel like he would love that. And love to sleep in the den I think haha.

Actually seri wolf pups have a “pup coat” that they have for the first couple weeks of there life. Then they start to develop they’re real colors. So that’s why when you were naming them they all looked brown. 😁 I love learning about wolves and I love you wolf quest series so much!!

Here is a story about my wolves: Splash stepped out of the den and into the morning light. His mate Diana was playing with his pups, well at least four of them. The largest female Clover was sick, she was incredibly weak and Splash felt so helpless. She weakly nudged her buddy: her sister Venus. Venus was concerned about Clover, and Splash had an ominous feeling deep down in his heart. Hope you enjoyed this, I hope that Clover recovers but it is not looking bright. :( 😢😖😞

I’ve started playing as Marigold and her quest has been surprisingly easy. I think I’m done with her quest of biting one of every animal. Marigold has bitten elk, mule dear, bears, a cougar, other wolves, coyotes, a fox, a bison, a bull Moose, and a rabbit. I think that’s all of the animals you can bite.
