Nice one. Can you do a short video on factorial to explain this Simplification a little more. Thanks

Maybe the application as well

Okay, thanks. Next video loading on factorial.

It would be nice if you mentioned what olympiad was that from, specifically what age is it targeted at. As for my solution, you can take 15!/11!3! from both sides to end with 1/4+1/12 and finish it all in one line

Yes, you are right about the age aspect. Now, about the solution, your solution will give 1/3 which I believe that amount of factorial there will not be as low as 1/3. Also, the question is like an expression so, you can't equate both sides. The only way out is to factorize it. Thanks, I appreciate it. Kindly subscribe to my channel.

@Waismaths-t6o I wasn't implying that this is the end of the solution, I should have explained it better. You still need to multiply 1/3 by the rest of the expression, but now the factorial part is much easier to reduce. For subscription, my 2 cents, I prefer a channel that adds a source of the problem. Once you start adding info like country, year, age and what type of Olympiad was that, it would make sense to subscribe. Otherwise, I can tell you that this problem was a standard problem in school when I was about 8 grade

I think he meant something like this… 1. Factor out as many of the factorial terms as you can: 15!/(11!3!) * (1/12 + 1/4) 2. Simplify and expand the factorials and combine the two fractions: (15*14*13*12)/(3*2) * (1/3) 3. Continue simplifying: (15*14*13*2) / 3 4. Finishing reducing fraction: (14*13*5*2) = 1820

@williamfrederickiii1683 Okay, I understand now. Thanks for clarification. That's a good idea too. Assuming he said solve them separately, I would understand more. Thanks

@dmitryli I think I understand your point now. @dmitriyl explains it better. A good idea too.
