there's something beautiful about these movies that are 80-90 years older than me

I was born in 1943, and at age 12 I was watching Glenda Farrell, Ann Sothern , Loretta Young, Linda Hayes, and Veda Ann Borg in movies from the 1940's and earlier. My class mates were hung up on Marilyn Monroe, Jayne Mansfield, and Brigitte Bardot. *I like to think I had better taste.

Several people are complaining about the sound being too low. There is a volume control on the bottom left corner of the picture.. There is a second one in the bottom right of the viewing screen. One can cancel out the other. Open up the first one all the way and then adjust the volume level with the second one. One thing you won't be able to edit out is the background hum; that's part of the recording from that period of audio technology. I don't know if anyone can 'filter' it out.

Just because it's old, doesn't mean it's good~ pitiful script & acting here. @ 46:42, I immediately recognized the 'screen' Lyle removed from the closet, having set 'em up often in high school. You have a control for that in the lower left corner of your viewed image. There is another control in the lower right corner of the monitor screen itself. If you have stand-alone speakers, there is probably at least one control on them as well.

Neither fish nor fowl. Comedy was too broad and the acting was seriously amateurish. Strange, as Lyle Talbot and Glemda Farrell did some fine work earlier in their careers. Really kind of strange as if they couldnt decide which way to go and they used up the hundred dollar budget.
