No kidding, while playing the game I kept thinking "I rlly hope someone makes ambience videos of camp" and that it would be really cool for people with a free cam mod to maybe position it close to a character or inside their tent while they're just doing their thing. Thanks for making this, it's really soothing

I've been going through a really rough situation, and I don't always ask for comfort from the people around me because I don't like the feeling of being a burden. And also because it's never been easy for me to seek support out of embarrassment or fear of abandonment if people see me at my lowest point.. So when I came across this video, I almost immediately burst into tears, and it made sleeping a little easier because it genuinely felt like Astarion was looking out for me. I know it might sound silly, but he is one of my comfort characters.. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for making this video.❤️‍🩹

I completely understand all of this because I'm very much the same way. You aren't a burden dear. You will always have a safe place here. 💜 It's definitely not silly that he's one of your comfort characters, in my 30 years of living and fangirling over things Astarion is the first character I've found true comfort in and probably the first I've obsessed over THIS hard... and I was a Harry Potter girlie lmao. I make little idle Astarion videos for other socials (may put them here as shorts but gotta find different music I think lol) and I find myself going to watch those when I need comfort. So, it's very much not silly. 💜

These much simpler moments of bg3 are so much more important than I realized at first. Sitting in a tent, watching your party interact and then go off to sleep, listening to the sounds of animals with your companion simply sitting with you in the tent... no fights, no heavy dialogue, just regular interactions... it makes it much more realistic and really sticks with ya harder. Love the video! 🙏

I use videos like these to sleep - like gamer bf plays games whilst u nap next to them so i fall asleep to key sounds and chatter whilst other people snore. I have bad insomnia and anxiety/depression - 3am is early bed. So sounds to wind down is good. Anything to keep me in the bed and not wandering the house 😂😂 Astarion could do some complaining or humming whilst he is stood there or pacing about - just improvments so people are comforted by his presence
