This is a very special one for me. Bivacco Ronconi is a little yellow cabin located on a narrow ridge on the border between Italy and Switzerland.
Not many people visit this place, in fact there is still the original book from 1964 and we were the 8th group of 2021 (and maybe the last!) visiting this place. More than 2000m D+, glacier crossing, a little climbing part.
What an adventure!
Sadly, a little problem with my drone occurred... So happy to have been able to get the footage back.

Kudos to those, who build bivaks in such a remote places (I know that modern bivaks are transported to the location with helicopters). Same goes for huts. Great vlog!

What a beautiful story !!! Good choice with the rope for lifting the backpacks. I can only dream to this kind of adventures. The fact the original book is still there is really, really, impressive. As you perfectly said, "it is a piece of history". Congratulation also to Saro. This guy was make a miracle. To find a drone in those condition it's like finding a 'needle in a haystack.

I have 8 more months left until I sadly have to move away from NE Italy and I know I will miss it dearly when that time comes. Hopefully, I can get to a bivacco for at least one night before then. In the meantime, even just day trips into the Dolomites help me find peace and appreciation for everything in life. Bellisima Italia!

The first thought crossing my mind when you squeezed yourself into the last narrow part was "what happens if one of these bricks decides to break loose?". Might have looked more confidence inspiring in real life but on the screen it looked a little scary ^_^ The views are truely awesome and the ridge looks like a dragons back, so seeing that tiny yellow hut gives the scene a real funny touch. The fact that he found the drone (gray) inside that random mountain crack (also gray and dark on top) is just plain amazing! Cudos to your guy!

yeah that last narrow part was less scary in real life. those rocks are massive and don't go anywhere. about the colour of the drone, yeah, I will add a colorful skin on the next one haha

A real game changer for the DJI drones would be if they recorded a higher resolution"safety track" onto the smartphone. And downloading raw images automatically as well. I hope someday we will get the connection speeds needed for that. Nice work bruno. I need to visit the dolomites so Bad 🔥❤️

When you are rappeling, you have your prusik very loose. If you dont have to pull it by your hand it wont stop the fall.
