To be honest that bit at the beginning about the restlessness on your days off from the night shift made me hit the Like alone - going through that right now since I picked up a bar security job, and just last night I thought that if I had a motorcycle I'd totally do the same, drive around the Oregon back roads at night. Anyway, never commented before but I've been listening for years minus a year hiatus, lots to catch up on and never been disappointed. Thanks for doing what you do.

@jackdare5 жыл бұрын
Love how he keeps calling it a pig ostrich, lol. Is this a new monster we've never heard of?? 30:46 Fun Fact: In Hawaii I got caught in a riptide. No possible way to fight it, then a marine tortious appeared to play with me & ended up pulling me perpendicular to riptide until I got to the beach over 1 mile up shore. Moral? Whether your riptide is metaphorical or metaphysical.. look for a turtle & go sideways!
@jackdare5 жыл бұрын
@Makeup Minion Hmm, never thought of that! Can they manifest as the real animal? In my case there literally was one of those giant swimming turtles the size of a fat oval boogie board that swam up & let me hold onto its shell.. almost like it would look back to say "hold on, I'll save ya" and it was strong enough to effortlessly carry me about a mile up the coast. For a while I wondered if we were ever gonna stop swimming 😂 I just guess a mile because it took about 15-30 minutes to walk back along the sandy shore from where it dropped me off.. totally surreal experience!

I gotta admit this was very well written and quite interesting! I didn’t exactly take it in the beginning, but the longer I listened the better I began to understand. There were infinite possibilities as to his fate, but I instantly knew he’d killed a smaller one when it made the youthful mistake of running out in front of a moving vehicle. I can’t explain why, but I had a strong sense of a near community among them. And it was exactly that! Now I am not sure as to whether he did or didn’t cross into another world, plane, or planet, but it seemed just like he stated, he was not in HIS forest. Mama was mad. Thanks to Dr Creepen for all your fabulous work, and your dedication to our entertainment! I cannot imagine how you manage to work a regular job, and still satisfy, or treat, each of your 200,000 patients so often! That definitely shows dedication and I for one, am truly grateful for it. Oh, really nice one. Very atmospheric and psychological, with a sweet amount of lovecraftian Monster action (love how he kept calling it pig ostrich xD). I'm normally not quite the fan of first person stories were the protagonist dies (for obvious reasons) but here it worked fine. The only thing that almost drove me nuts was, that this guy didn't just fucking drive off waaayyyy sooner xD Seriously. See that it's not a human. See that it's even creepy. Go to your car, enter it and drive.

This story is a perfect example of why Dr Creepen dwells in the etheric realms of coolness with the likes of Christopher Walken or Steve McQueen or Lemmy Kilmister. Why ? Because again and again he smoothly refers to his nemesis - the pig-ostrich - without dissolving into helpless laughter like i did every time he said it. This is the reason Dr. Creepen is the only man alive I would allow to perform the most delicate of exploratory surgery on my most vital nethers - just to poke around and make sure everything is shipshape in there. And what's more i would let him stitch me up with fancy embroidery. Dr. Creepen is that damn cool.
