2:26 FISK IS CORRECT, Silencer is the correct term. The Maxim Silencer was the first commercially successful firearm sound suppressor. Developed by Hiram Percy Maxim (son of Sir Hiram Stevens Maxim, who invented the Maxim machine gun) in tandem with the automobile muffler in the early 1900s, it was patented in 1909. A silencer, also known as a sound suppressor, suppressor, or sound moderator, is a muzzle device that reduces the acoustic intensity of the muzzle report (sound of a gunshot) and muzzle rise when a gun (firearm or air gun) is discharged, by modulating the speed and pressure of the propellant gas from the muzzle and hence suppressing the muzzle blast. Like other muzzle devices, a silencer can be a detachable accessory mounted to the muzzle, or an integral part of the barrel. A typical silencer is a metallic (usually stainless steel or titanium) cylinder containing internal sound baffles, with a hollow bore to allow the projectile (bullet) to exit normally. During firing, the bullet flies through the bore with little hindrance, but most of the expanding gas ejecta behind it is retained through a longer and convoluted escape path created by the baffles, prolonging the release time. This slows down the gas and dissipates its kinetic energy into a larger surface area, reducing the blast intensity, thus lowering the loudness. PS: Duct taping a water bottle on the end of a Ruger 10/22 barrel only works once and not that well at that.

You can store things in the bears so that they don't get injured when shot or git by zombies. You can also bury them in the ground to make small stashes to dug up later if you have alot of one ammo that you don't have a gun for at that time. You can hide them in the ground and dig them up later when you find something to use it for.

Also if you bake your food you get water plus hunger bonus instead of smoking. You can transfer your meat from the smoker to the baking when your done baking what you had already cooked.

Chernarus: north east airfield nbc suit and meds for med tents and small miltary base for basic gear, hit rify for tier 4-5 guns n gear, head north west to loot mil bases for further loot. Then go Livonia with same character geared up find a convoy get a punch card hit up bunker for nvgs and tier 4-5 loot. Keep an ear out for loud bangs and explosions as they are usually heli crashes, train derailment or convoy. Missile sounds are incoming toxic gas. Good luck on your future runs. Official servers are the best.

Great video! I started to play DayZ last summer after watching youtubers playing it on and off for ages. I love the concept of the game but recently decided to go back to only watch others for now since personally gaming is something to relax after a busy day and this game has just driven my anxiety to the roof haha But I found I really enjoy watching others getting into the game and explore. Id try deer isle next. Its a beautiful map with lots of places to explore.

That police zombie you stealth killed at what you called a road block had a stab vest you could've taken. You wldnt have had as much storage spece as the hunters vest you were wearing but it wldve given you some protection from zombies and players. Oh and your question at the end..yes action is great and that will come...but i enjoy watching new players learn the ins and outs because there is alot to learn. I saw a couple of things in this episode but others have already commented on it so i won't. They probably told you about the stab vest too but i started writing without checking. But just trying to help educate. Great video. Keep them coming 👍🏻

Welcome to DayZ fiskypoo. I've got almost 5k hours myself. I'm glad you're learning on a slower server. That's a good play. I started on PVE servers to learn mechanics, then learned PVP, as it's very different from most games. DayZ is a very PVP centered game, so I feel like you're not getting the full experience of getting geared and established, then getting domed from a kilometer away lol... You'll get there. Keep grinding, it's a blast.

Fisk, another good way to learn is join a server with very little to no pop. That way you can wander around and see how zeds are and different stuff without worrying about being sniped

Definitely improved game play already from the DayZ vid u last produced/posted,excellent movement to avoid the snipers(attempt too).
