The light application used to make the reflections is amazing. The control you have with unisons... most people would've had to use a harder pastel to complete those reflections and still couldn't do it that good.

Great work Les. I have recently after decades gotten back into the pastels and watching your incredible work only motivates me more to continue and strive to perfect my hand in the art of pastels . I really enjoy your posts on your work and how easy you make it seem to do. Thanks again. Before i close my comment ? I would like to ask or request upon you to see if you could possibly do a piece on my old home town ... New York city in pastels . That to me also would be Bellissimo. Thank you . Ciao.

Les, brilliant work. Here is a tip for you to keep your work in focus on camera. Turn it on and set to autofocus, then once it is focused, turn it to manual focus and it won't try to keep refocusing. I enjoy learning from watching you paint, please keep making new ones. Thank you.

When finished with the sky, you used an intense dark color for the moor. Is that a black or Prussian blue? I'm learning! Taa-Daa! IF BLACK, why not Prussian blue, or an intense deep green with a touch of red? How am I doing?
@lesdarlow10 жыл бұрын
Prussian Blue my friend, very pleased you got a recent bargain., looked amazing les
