I did that recently and sold some figures that didn’t interest me anymore or were just regret purchases. And I’m glad you were able to organize what you had to help make room for storage. Aaaawww hello sweet girl! Thank you so much again for your support and watching! 🥰🙏 Man, this video was such an eye-opening experience… It’s so interesting to see how my collecting habits have changed over the years. like… I really must’ve had some blinders on, because how did I not discover scale figures till years later? I used to exclusively only collect nendos and figma…… because back in the day they were dirt cheap, and now they are what I try to avoid?! Since editing this video, there’s even more figures I might want to get rid of… So maybe another decluttering video will happen soon-ish LOL 😂 but I’m so curious, what are some pieces that you’ve recently gotten rid of?! And surprisingly… While I did make a profit on my Pokémon nendoroids..>.. it wasn’t as much as I thought it would be. I had no idea, but people were looking for the Pokémon shop exclusive version… Which I did not have for both… I didn’t know until I got a bunch of private messages asking on their listings 😭

@@wyldphinniweeb People's figure tastes definitely change. And I can definitely see why Nendos are a money pit with how cheap they are, but then they add up. I might limit my Nendoroird preorders because I do have a bunch, but I feel like some of that money can go towards a scale figure. I actually sold my Spy X Family Nendos because they weren't doing it for me. They are cute, but I feel like they are lacking and because of their sizing, don't look the best all together. At least if you have Anya with Loid and Yor. I also sold my Twisted Wonderland Aniplex scales which were just Riddle and Leona. Honestly a regret purchase. I think they look cool, but I couldn't really get into the game. They were pretty much purchased without thought. 😭 Oof. Yeah I saw the Green Nendo had a Rare Candy accessory or a Poke Ball base depending on where you get him from. I'm glad that you were able to make some of your money back! But yeah people do be hunting for those exclusives. 😂

@@wyldphinniweeb I would be the worst at telling if anyone was awkward but if it helps, didn't feel like that to me! I just thought you both sounded like friends having a good time without worries about the camera. ^^ Oof now I'm second guessing myself haha. I know that I've got new figures coming in this year and no where to put them, but I guess I'd try cutting down from my growing Miku collection. I have two nendos I moved with that I haven't re-unboxed even. One is the 2021 Snow Miku nedo, the other is the Korin Kimono nedo. The problem is, they aren't exactly the ones taking up space are they? I have to be tougher about it. If I do sell, it would be the first time I'd sell anything in my collection, so that's a bit intimidating. I'm just teasing for sure about Tsukki, the best part of Haikyuu is that there are so many characters everyone can have favorites! ^^ I can't be a hypocrite anyway, I've always found Suga and Daichi a lil boring. But that's probably because I got into Haikyuu a really weird way, through a Pacific Rim style fanfic of it, before even watching the anime or reading the manga. Finding out what Daichi's 'death' in that fic was based on was very funny ngl but i do think it took some of the fun out of it 😹

I know what fanfic you’re talking about… I never got far with it, but I literally know lol OMG… I’m getting a burst of memories of old Haikyuu fanfics… I was always particularly into the tattoo shop aAU’S LOL 😂🙏❤️ I feel you on a spiritual level… I have a lot of pre-orders that came in or are coming… With no space to properly display them 😂 it seems to be an issue for many collectors to have a few Too Many Miku’s Taking up space… At least it’s an adorable problem? Aaawww well if you decide to sell your Nendoroid I wish you much success! For me, I was really intimidated starting at first… But once I got the ball rolling I found it easier to part with even more figures for my collection maybe the same will happen with you? 😄🌟💫

I used to exclusively only buy things from conventions, and you’re completely right… It was definitely a frenzy lol and I also still can’t believe I used to buy Figmas…… like who was I?! Sadly, when I used to buy merchandise… I never had the time to properly open things and display them because when I lived in California I was never home due to my job and schooling 😅😭 oh well, at least it made it easier for reselling in the future lol Yesss I definitely made a profit from the Pokémon Nendoroids……. but not as much as you think. I had no idea that the Pokémon store exclusives were more sought after… Which I did not have, whoops 🤷‍♀️ And man you’re right, getting insane deals is a bygone era for conventions! even having official merchandise was extremely rare back then… Sometimes I can get a pretty good deal paying cash at a convention, but definitely not over 50% off 😅 DAAwww well I’m so relieved to hear you got the vibe of friendship in this video! Something me and my friend can watch together when we’re weird old weebie ladies 😂 Going to conventions used to be a huge part of my life! Editing this video… Makes me miss them, I’m thinking I might try to go to one or two this year 😄 As for selling… I’ve only ever sold 1 item on MFC … But the rest have sold 30+ on Mercari. MFCU definitely make more money, but unless something is super rare… I noticed it takes longer for things to sell… If at all Unfortunately Mercari does take a 10% percentage as well as a service fee, but it is one of the better rates… Plus they give you a postage label as well as providing better shipping rates for the buyers. For me, things have also sold pretty quick. Sadly those are the only two places I’ve sold items, I wish I could be more helpful! I mostly use Mercari just for the convenience and getting rid of things quickly… But if you have the time I’m sure there’s better options out there! I don't know if I can use Mercari since I'm in Canada but I'll look into it :) I think I'm going to try to see if facebook marketplace or ebay will give me any luck, I've tried listing on MFC and Poshmark and I don't have any sales. I've only sold a few things on FB marketplace, but I purchase quite a bit on it. So I'm hoping it will work out well enough. I honestly think cross posting is probably the way to go but I just have to make sure I'm diligent about taking down listings. I'll definitely wear lolita at least 2 of the days of the convention. I might also do a video about how to get ready for a convention, but I found the vlogging to not really be my thing, even though it was fun!!
