I played A Difficult Game About Climbing and I thought it was easy! As a Foddian guy, I analyzed the design and gameplay of this game and shared my opinion with a game review!

The mechanics are difficult the problem is the level design is too forgiving (and unbalanced). It basically has multiple checkpoints. I think it's mostly fine though, good game. edit: yo nice video your editing and content pacing has improved (also bro really referred to me as his chat)

I basically 100% agree, It’s an incredibly fun game, The movement is difficult yet incredibly satisfying to improve at and it has lots of great obstacles and ideas but it is EXTREMELY forgiving, Steam said it took me 4.1 hours to beat which is the fastest I’ve ever beaten a Foddian game. I hope this game gets more challenging content in the future because I would definitely be up for it, but even if it doesn’t it’s still a great time. 👍

I do agree with you that it doesn’t set you back too much. I kind of had this idea where maybe in like the most difficult section there would have been this whirlpool at the far right where if you miss the jump, it sucks you down and sends you all the way to the bottom. Kind of like the snake.

how on earth do you find the time to edit in this quality, would take me like a month to replicate something of this quality. and your basically pumping these out weekly. insane, your so underrated its unbelievable. you my good sir have earned a sub.

I'm on a hot streak lol definetly too much to do weekly, right now I'm collaborating with my roomate who is an insanely talented editor so if I just write the scripts and record the footage and put it how I want it in the editing software, he comes through and puts all the high quality polish and adds so much to my videos it's going great so far 👍

If you enjoyed this game I recommend "peaks of yore" its a 3d game with similar, but more in depth mechanics and a final level that is hard as all get out.
