I love the nervous energy on Dream. More often than not he's depicted as generally confident, but this on is painted more like an insecure child with WAY to much power. I think it meshes better with Dream's acting as well. Sam's design is also great. His monotone but steady voice becomes gradually more terrifying and his red eyes are chilling. Great job.

Absolutely. The way Awesamdude speaks to dream in this animation is not a way of screaming and shouting, threating to do violent things beyond your wildest imagination, instead he's calmer- talking slowly and in a monotone voice. It 's like a parent telling a child off for doing something scandalous. The warden intimidates dream with this calm yet somehow aggressive and threating underlying tone - he 's soft spoken yet uses a fear striking voice. It's like - audibly using great grammar and hard periods when correcting or talking to someone online, which admittedly is kind of scary personally. :,) (At a point when I was reading your comment when you mentioned red eyes my thoughts immediately zoomed to- Prolonged eye contact ksksks lol) And like you said, dream is depicted as a insecure child in this animation which I again agree fits perfectly for him! The stutter and the sudden stops when the warden starts to speak to him, dream behaves as if this is a scolding and he desperately does want to get in trouble. All in all it 's a beautiful animatic I agree ! :D

I love the cut to Sam’s eye and Tommy’s hand! I love how Dream doesn’t look all confident, but more like a kid who pushed his luck too far. It’s very clear now that Dream is scared, especially of Death and Quackity.

Cc!sam’s improv charcter moments and decision are impeccable especially in the most recent prison streams. He really seems to know his charcter so well. Like the improv moment with the dog in the prison. Cc!sam makes the decision for c!sam to suggest killing the dog in quackity’s stream and delivers the line quite bluntly and harshly but also rather lightheartedly, Then in sams stream c!sam just straight up murders the dog. It really shows how c!sams only focus and priority is keeping the prisoners in and how paranoid he is about it. He suggests killing the dog in q’s stream when he knows there’s probably no way to use the dog to escape and murders the dog when he thinks both of the prisoners have already escaped. It really shows how far gone his character is and how paranoid he is and it seems likely that whole character moment was improv because no one would expect the dog to randomly teleport. Also c!sam’s main motivator and his attachment from the fault is Fran, a dog. C!sam has been shown to love his dog so much but now he’s brutally murdering another dog for no reason. C!sam is so fucked up I love him.I especially love that in the scene on this animatic c!sam is right he’s telling dream how it is but the audience knows that even though sam is right he’s being a massive hypocrite. I like the idea maybe what c!sam is saying here is something he might want to say to himself and think that impression comes off really great in the animatic. The shot of tommy reminding us of c!sams own guilt to do with tommy.

I love the intimidating vibes and that Dream puts on his mask like an act of self defense when Sam gets closer. And I want to mention the difference between Quackitys and Sams efforts to get information from Dream about the book. Quackity is furious, noisy and brutal. Sam is just standing there and talks to Dream like he is a naughty child. It reminds me of the good cop- bad cop thing. XD

this represents Dream's character so well! Especially with how his thumbs were shaking through the whole scene- it made me feel like it was a child trying to convince an adult they didnt steal a cookie, While we all know he stole the cookie. It also shows his character in a different light, how being in prison has effected his calm attitude & almost ego tone to more of like how Tommy's character is. With the fidgeting and being talked down to like some sort of little kid, I also really like how you showed Sam's character getting closer and closer!! It's like a nice little bow to show how they think of each other while never stating it With their acting it felt like a director was leading the scene. Like how irl Wilbur stated it, "if I was a director that would be the cut i'd take, thats the one." or something along those lines- ANYWAYS! Love how you portray Dream in this. Far from being unnervingly creepy or stoic or manipulative, the overall vibe I get from him here is one of a terrified, abused, mentally-unstable guy desperately attempting to talk his way out of more pain or death while trying and failing miserably to keep up an unbothered, nonchalant facade. I love how he fidgets and sweats like a guilty little kid, how his smile goes from confident to shaky to almost nauseous before disappearing altogether. He's completely powerless here and he *knows* it, and Sam knows it, too. That's really emphasized with how he's constantly looming over Dream during the animatic, getting all up in his personal space, putting his hand on his chest and then curling it around his neck, not to mention how much bigger and stronger he is than Dream. It's all really uncomfortable. Well done. 👍

This is something I love about the Dsmp, since everyone streams their perspectives there's never really been a true 'bad guy'. When Le'manburg was blown up by Techno, Phil, and Dream sure some people might say Phil is a villain but when you look at his intentions, his reasoning behind hating the government it's easy to see he's not. Techno just wants to live his life, Le'manburg attacked him with the Butcher Army. But then there's Dream. Dream doesn't stream his perspective and he has become the 'big bad villain' of his own server. I just think that's so interesting because it mimics the real world in that way, no one is really the 'big bad villain' if you dig deep enough. They're just people with warped views, bad days and misunderstanding.
