I'd say you brought out everything that radio has to offer. It actually sounded pretty solid through your test radio, though if mine, a noise canceling microphone would probably be next on the list.

I have never seen a 40 channel version of that radio before. I have had a few Pace radios, but they were not my fav. Glad to see another radio brought back to life.

They're essentially the same inside and out. Unless you look at the channel dial, you'll never notice. I agree, not the best made or performing radios.

Love that radio, brings back a lot of great memories, I’ve never owned one but saw a few and always wanted one. Great job bringing that old girl back to the airwaves. You have a great channel, one of my favorites! Thanks
