Jesus. I dogsat for someone who had 6 small dogs, despite them being chilled out it was still a lot of work, I can't even imagine 6 spaniels. Honestly I don't really see the appeal of having so many dogs, you simply can't give them all as much attention as you could 1 or 2

I've had a female cocker spaniel, a mix between showline and fieldline. She was an angel, super obedient, only barked when someone approached the house, very cudddly, but also very energic. I would like to get a couple more, but definetly no more than two at the same time. In general having more than four dogs isn't good for anyone, you still need to spend individual time wwith each of your dog, and when you have that many you're inevitably going to neglect some of their needs.

Sometimes it can be a problem that it's so hard to be mad at a cocker spaniel. ( we used to have a liver roan boy, Barnabas) They are usually so sweet.

Arent Spanials working dogs? They hate being closed inside a house for hours waiting for their human parents to show up and take them outdoors. As working dogs Spaniels love outdoors. So the anxiety of not being out is overwhelming for them. They are beauties and friendly.😮😮😮😮

No but, full time work, six of them, and then the walk they went on???? My one cocker would be devastated. My house would be ruined the first time I went out my own as punishment. A cocker and a heeled walk?!?! After being cooped up for hours? Where's the sniffing? Where's the diving the bushes? They're cockers! Hopefully, the walk was just for the sake of cameras, poor babies.

This old man tries but he makes it very difficult for him . Why don't you tell them to stop barking? And why don't you exercise the dog before you start to train them? The dogs seems very unstimuleted. They need some really constant exercise at least twice a day. Otherwise you can't ask anything of these wonderful dogs.

Haha they can't hark while the tennis balls are in their mouths - gobstoppers.... My Springer Jack barker maybe once a week which always made me jump as he really meant it. ..current dog is a tiny JR who is much more work all round... Well done all ...😊

I have 9 dogs all rescues and most have the worse anxiety because of previous life. We have one female Saluki that masturbates ( no more) thank goodness. One with imaginary monsters attacking her ( three years isolated in kennels ) now the best behavior in all my dogs. I just wish people would think first research borrow a dog whatever. The selfishness I’ve seen in all my years of rescue is unbelievable.

I'm pretty sure those are Springer Spaniels Cockers are about half the size of a Springers. And that would already be considered a big cocker.

Time for U.K. By-Law policies to be passed and enforced. Unless you live on a farm and the dogs are working dogs, the maximum number of dogs in a home should be 3. If you also want cats, the maximum of pets = 5. Example, 2 dogs and 3 cats. Or 3 dogs and 2 cats. But no more than 5.
