As a Raven's fan, this is how I felt when Ed Reed left the team after we won the Super Bowl, except nobody cared because we won the Super Bowl. Also Ray Lewis retired that very day. And our Hard Knocks was the first Hard Knocks ever. And we still had Joe Flacco... okay so maybe it's completely different.

As a Lions fan it's weird because I have despised Aaron Rodgers for so long then he gives the Jets a huge discount on his salary because they asked him nicely, and you realize that he could have done the same thing for the Packers. Also, he shows up to training camp looking fresh and clean and not like he steals carburetors on a daily basis. Just giving big middle fingers to the Packers FO. I still despise him, but just a little less now.

I think Rodgers got paid a lot less than he was worth for quite some time, hoping for a first-rate surrounding team to materialize. He finally asked for value for service.

He didn't take a pay cut because that was his leverage. With his cap hit being so big he had them by the balls. This is absolutely a middle finger to the Packers FO. A well deserved one I might say. They dicked around his whole career never fixing the issues with the team so they could get over the hump and back to the Super Bowl. Just content being a winning team year after year. They could have had a dynasty.

It’s crazy how accurate Tom is with these. Seriously tho, I had never seen hard knocks before this but I had to since Aaron was gonna be on. I miss him so much but it’s nice to see him so happy. Episode 1 was actually very entertaining and I’m excited for the rest of the series. Hopefully J-Lo learned from A-Rod and we won’t be as bad as I think we’ll be!

Here's how bad my early stage dementia has gotten: I tuned into this because I like Tom's delivery and style. tbf, your fanbase basically ran him out of town. The "suck for Luck" chants were... well if I were Manning I'd be pissed. Not move to another team pissed -- I'm sure there was way more than that going on -- I just remember not liking it. Out of curiosity, when the Colts had a real chance for an undefeated season, and instead rested their starters, did you stay pissed or did you manage to talk yourself around? It's funny how the Colt way and the Patriot way both failed to win a SB. Not haha funny, like funny the way things work out.

Fans didn't do it as much as our drug addled owner did. Manning was said to never be the same after the neck injury and missing all of 11. So Jim decided to draft Luck and rebuild. Much like everything else he does, he didn't look at the big picture and realized that Grigson was a terrible GM and was setting Luck up for failure by having no offensive line. Honestly most real fans didn't care about the undefeated season. We are so super bowl deprived that making sure everybody was healthy and making a run to try to get the second one in 3 years mattered more. You are right though. Going undefeated is just really hard and there are just so many variables that pop up. Like having the most mid wide receiver make one of the most ridiculous catches ever in the middle of a super bowl to ruin a perfect season run. Hahaha.
