​​@@Sphere723because upon closer inspection, the Packers soft zone coverages are still exploited by opponents and they can't stop the run consistently. These defense plays similar to its 2011 counterparts, the take aways are great but they can't always bank on it. What loses the defense' games are their inability to remain consistent, especially during playoffs, they pick the worst time to let up a big play. Don't allow these last few games over shadow the concerns they still have as a unit.

Like in 2010 when the 7-6 Packers went on to win the Super Bowl. Or when teams with bad Ds get lucky, like the 15-1 Packers lost their first game in the post season. Look at the Vikings last year when they had the worst D in the league, but lucked into 13-4 and lost in the first round of the playoffs. The record is what counts, but it would be a mistaking to think that is how good they are or the team with the best record would win the Super Bowl every year. At this point in the season, the Lions are not guaranteed to be better than 8-9. At this point the Packers are not guaranteed to be worse than 11-6. The truth will be somewhere in between. I will say, I think the Packers are better if the injuries were equal.
