A Painting Disaster led to my Biggest Breakthrough! Watercolor Inspiration from Angela Fehr

For #worldwatercolormonth I'm posting a new video every day in July!
Today I want to share a clip from a recent workshop, where I tell the story of how a well-intentioned taxi driver caused a disaster...that then led to my favourite painting of the year!
The lesson here is that there is always an opportunity to see from a new perspective, and when you're in the middle of a disaster, taking a risk is a better response than giving up, panicking or losing it!

I love how you didn't waste all your juicy paint! I had a happy accident today - I overworked my watercolour and ended up turning it muddy. I rinsed off the whole paper under the tap and then spayed the paper with bleach. It looks better now than the original! 😊

Oh, I haven't tried the bleach technique! That's extreme!
