As a resident of Florida, I can say we do regularly come across Gator-people and befriend them. Completely normal. 🤣

Oh my god. He did it! Not only did we get gator romance, we got the Canadian accent. Jack is soooo cute! The accent is just adorable! I want to give him a hug. And the singing is really nice. Also, was his last name actually Flower of Passion? The hockey, the beer, just everything. This man makes me all warm and fuzzy inside. I love him! Brilliantly done as usual Sir.

As a Canadian that doesn’t live too far from Cornwall I’ll say your Accent is pretty accurate and also hilarious but this is my first “Canadian“ accent video normally it’s from other countries that I listen to but I saw Canadian and was like oh I’ll give a try and I’m glad I did this made me laugh also realize that I do sound like this

I grew up about 8 minutes from the border of Canada. Ontario, more specifically. Most of the kids I knew grew up with a lot of exposure to Global, CJOH, and SCTV... where we all fell in love with The Great White North. As a result, a lot of us upstate NY'ers adopted the lovingly exaggerated accent of Rick Moranis and Dave Thomas. Didn't help that many of the locals across the border spoke in a very similar manner. When I'm not thinking about it, it often comes through. Thank you for listening.

The two moose in Brother Bear were played by Rick Moranis and Dave Thomas, who were kind of reprising their roles as Bob and Doug Mackenzie. Two lovable Canadians who I used to watch on SCTV.

Canadians don’t have an accent I should know I’m Canadian 🇨🇦
@ExtrovertED3 жыл бұрын
I grew up near Cornwall, ONT in the 80s. At the time, the Canadian accent was very prevalent amongst the people there. I'm definitely exaggerating it for Jack, but no more than what Rick Moranis and Dave Thomas did on SCTV. Personally, I've always appreciated accents from Canada. Both the subtle and outlandish. There is such a warm and honest quality to it.
