A Pandemic Holiday // 48 hours in Asturias!

Restrictions between Spanish regions have finally lifted so at the first chance I got I fled out of Madrid.
This time to the north, to the mountainous and green region of Asturias and the Gijón area. It's always nice to have connections...
We spend our limited time visiting family and friends, eating and drinking constantly with a couple of visits to Avilés and Tazones mixed in.
The restaurants and their foods:
Montera Picona - chorizo a la sidra, chipirones afogados, cachopón
Cafe Dindurra - free tapas and vermouth
Los Gamonales - cured meats and cheese, ñocla (crab), tuna with pisto, zamburiñas (scallops), roasted lamb, chuletón steak, desserts and chupitos
El Planeta - calamari, scallops, sardinas and anchovies
La Nansa - pixín (monkfish)
Asturias is a magnificent place, but make sure you go hungry.

Mira que bien, en Xixon. Ganas que tengo de volver cuanto antes. La tierrina. Love this video in particular as I grew up in Gijon, spent many summers and Xmas holidays there and have family and friends whom I haven't seen in a few years. So many places to visit when I go back next year. Thx for a video full of places that spark so many memories. =)

Hey Stuart! Cheers for the message! Yeah, kinda been stuck without been able to travel so the Asturias trip has been on hold for a while. Also originally a 4-day trip was planned! Regarding the music, no idea why, but I love triphop and chill hop but only thought to put it to videos last year for the first time!

Thanks for uploading again from Japan. Have been to Europe only once in 1992. A couple of days in Spain. Very calm atmosphere which I really like. Pandemic? the situations here in Japan basically very similar, not serious but everyone do like you guys. I met a Spanish girl who was hitchhiking? in Japan a couple years ago.
