A Party With A Purpose | Puerto Rock Steady Music Festival Beach Cleanup & Reforestation Project

This is why Puerto Rock Steady Music Festival is a “party with a purpose.” Our mission is to help uplift Puerto Rico through tourism, economic development and organized volunteer efforts that empower and sustain communities. This year, we partnered with the incredible Puerto Rico-based Concervasion Costera for a reforestation and beach cleanup project to help restore trees that protect PR’s lush coastline, to remove the buildup of trash and debris that pollute PR’s beautiful beaches, and to educate all involved on how to protect our environment.
We also brought in a favorite local organic, hydroponic farm called Pura Emuna to feed our volunteers and crew with its fresh fruits and vegetables. Pura Emuna was devastated by Hurricane Maria in 2018, but thanks to donations by Crazy Legs' and his crowd-funding campaign for Puerto Rico, the farm remains healthy and open!
All this couldn’t have happened w/out the passion and commitment of our Puerto Rock Steady crew, Jeff Sanchez, Krista Estepa, CocoPR -and the dozens of volunteers who share the same vision and care as the festival. Also, thank you to to Para la Naturaleza for donating the trees, NBA for donating reusable water bottles to help eliminate plastic bottle waste and Kind for the Kind bars.
