That is a great question. If you are asking about temporary storage until you place your collection into archival safe storage, I would suggest using a shoe box or photo box but on the horizontal side. This should accommodate photos up to 11 inches wide. If you are referring to Archival Storage options, Archival Methods has many choices for larger photos, from boxes to folders. All available to keep your photos safe and dust free for the next generation.
