Thank you. My start stop area will be much neater on my next ones. I used a cut up face cloth on one side and cotton on the other. I use mine wet in the shower to wash my face. I like the 2 different sizes. They work well except my unravelling corners! No more now I know how.

It's good, I do! It has everything anyone who uses an overlocker needs, doesn't it?
@deborahvessell68702 жыл бұрын
I need to try this. Were you using a layer of flannel & a layer of terrycloth along with the stabilizer?
@AbisDen2 жыл бұрын
Hi Deborah, two sheets of bamboo towel from Ikea and a sheet of calico or interfacing in between :-) Have fun!

A really useful video … again, thank you. I’m assuming you’re making makeup remover pads. What is the soft white fabric you’ve used please? Thanks
@AbisDen2 жыл бұрын
Yes, correct, well, It wasn't planned, but happened to work out that way, thank you. I used bamboo towel from Ikea, and a piece of interfacing (a cut away stabiliser) in between. I used calico for the very large one. :-)

I'd still end up with a different shape - I'm not good at curves (I'm exceptional at wonky lines though) but I keep on trying. ❤️
@AbisDen2 жыл бұрын
If you go slow and just skim the edge, you’ll get there! But keep at it, it’s a real challenge 💪🏾✨🌷🪡

Please help.....I am overlocking a round table ,poly cotton, that ablecloth with 3 threads and every time the fabric gets to the area that is on the bias ,the tension goes crazy out...even though the straight tension swatch is correct! I recently had the machine serviced ( the sample tension swatch they gave was correct but on a thick cotton fabric).....I am really baffled🙃

Which nechhi model is this please Abi
@AbisDen2 ай бұрын
It’s the necchi model from Aldi , similar to the Lidl’s singer s14-78. Brilliant machine, much better than many leading market models.
@eileenfb19482 жыл бұрын
I expect that each machine will have it's own 'turning circle' which is a minimum diameter in which it can turn. What was the diameter of your cloths please. So I can use that as a starting point. Many thanks for this video as I would love to make round facial wipes in this way.
@AbisDen2 жыл бұрын
Ahh, no, I make all sizes of circles, just skim off the edge of any shape and you'll keep the shape.
@petegalloway2466 Жыл бұрын
You make this look “sew” easy! I’ve a long way to go with this. I’ve tried sewing a gusset into a bag lining and really struggled keeping the fabric under the presser foot. So id miss stitching the fabric totally 😳
@AbisDen Жыл бұрын
You can do it!

My biggest problem is the curve on the sleeve head though. For me, that's harder to do than a circle.
@AbisDen2 жыл бұрын
Oh yes. I have the outer curve coming. I’ve demonstrated sleeve heads in tops I’ve made but watch this space x
