Okay, I'm gonna pop off in this description. You ready?
Perfect Clear videos in GE3 are generally whack as hell.
A long time ago people used to praise them as the standard of refined and high level GE3 play.
Then you actually watch the video and you see a guy literally running in a circle around the Aragami until it does something unsafe, then they quickly punish and go back to running in a circle.
Or you see Tower x Autoguard use, Lucky Fall JGs with Tower, stunlock clears or the use of Hold or something equally boring.
Say. If you're gonna upload serious GE3 videos, why don't you upload something that's actually worth watching?
Tell me, how difficult was it to actually record a run like that?
How many chances were there to fuck up?
Which parts of your play can actually be studied from as "Perfect GE3 play"?
I have no idea how not taking damage in the most deliberate and blatant ways possible ever became anything praiseworthy.
Maybe its because GE boiz historically worry more about character builds, Custom Bullets and all this micro-calculation cool-on-paper stuff, to the point that actual Aragami tech and battle engagement knowledge takes a backseat in a limousine.
But if I can watch your video and see no real indication that you thoroughly know how to fight that specific Aragami, I'll question why the video even exists.
It's not even about JG vs Dodge anymore.
I know players that can fight 2 Hannibals at the same time while restricted to the church and not get hit for 15min.
High level and top shelf dodging exists. It just doesn't exist in GE3 videos on KZbin.
Okay let's all calm down. Especially you.
All I want is that, if you're gonna record serious runs for this game, you make every single video as sick as you possibly can.
No matter how many retries, how much effort or how much time it takes.
You make sure that every video you're uploading is the representation of your 'Ideal GE3 Play'. Doesn't matter if you're Dodge-first, JG-focused or a gunner or whatever your playstyle is.
If you watch your video back and it feels unexciting, like there's too many mistakes or like a routine, ask yourself whether you can do better and act on it.
In short, don't upload boring vids riddled with uneventful or low-tier play. GE3 is an old game now and gameplay videos should have developed to a level that displays that.
Thus ends my pop off.
I don't care how this description makes you feel because I been slaving away, polishing my GE3 skills non-stop since its release while most of you guys are just resting on your laurels.

Another amazing video! Genuinely, I'd never have the patience to do something like this. Back before JG HP Restore got axed, I would challenge myself to only heal with that and other regenerative skills, but that was about as far as I went since I'm just in it to enjoy the game my way. So I really do respect all the effort you put into stuff like this. To add my own thoughts to what you said in the description, if I'm just watching a random GE video and people aren't playing great but they're having a good time, I love seeing it. I just love seeing people enjoy something that I love, even if they're not good at it. If, however, a video has perfect clear in the title, I expect them to have some skill and put effort into it. I tease my friend for having auto guard but it doesn't actually bother me because we play casually, but using it for a perfect clear video is just kinda gross. It's understandable why you had that in the description. Though I'm tired and had to read it a few times to figure out what was going on. Sorry I often have long comments, I'm a chatty dummy, even moreso when tired.

Wow... I'm impressed. I'm glad I'm not the only nut job who likes to solo GE content in the most efficient (non crutch using, except bullets because I love breaking bonds for the extra melee crit) & stylish way possible. I don't like using tower shields often, I use regular shields & prefer to get good at evading if possible and using my shield only as necessary, of course a perfect clear requires multiple tries cause the normal shield won't save you if it's not a just guard. But that's on Resurrection, I haven't played 3 in a while, but I aim to be good at what I do, I hate feeling like I received a win on a silver platter... I wanna EARN IT! That's what games like monster hunter & Code Vein forces me to do, so I can do it here too! For now though, I'll probably keep messing with Resurrection till I go plat and do everything I ever wanted. I'm rambling... Anyway, G Freaking G!

Good day Sensei! I've been watching your videos to teach me how to play this game. I'm just wondering how can I show this Aragamis life bar? I already installed "cardiograph" in my shield but the bar is still not showing

The lifebar only appears in Time Attack missions. Cardiograph is a skill that makes the Aragami blip on the radar flash according to how much HP it has left. Given that you asked this on my website as well, I'm gonna copypasta this answer on disqus and add it to the FAQ later as well.

Hey Brent - are the burst arts for jump light attack still the best options for many many weapons? It seems like thats what you used for many weapons (heavy moon, buster blade, Hammer videos) and idk if that jump light attack spam into downed attack spam is still the way to go.

It depends. I used them a lot so that I can keeo my attacks compact so I can attack in small openings or react if something unexpected happens. Many of the weapons can become proficient if you use them like that, but like I always say, you should find what is fun for you and go with that

One of my worst enemies back in GE2RB... That aragami gave me nightmares when I first time fought him and can't even activate my blood rage conditions... Screw you and your clothesline attacks.. In GE3, he's a lot faster than before... Good thing you can move a lot faster so that's the advantage...
