For people traveling solo can take A1 or A2 bus to mochit bts(metro) 30 baht. From there towards sukhmvit area is around 45 baht by bts. This is worth and quicker.

True but with 4 people taxi will be cheaper to the hotel and the hassle to change the bus and then train and then walking is not worth saying a few hundred rs
