i absolutely agree with the title. My late mother picked one up for me on a business trip when i was 8 or so, i had no trouble building it and was so surprised at how solid the kit was, and how articulated it was. About 10 years later i was fully into the hobby, ofc i had to pick one up again, this time i cleaned the nubs, panel lined and painted the details as close to perfection as i could. It’s a fond memory of mine that always come up when i see the kit.

For Americans....HG Jesta, Zaku ii Red Comet the origins, Gouf Custom, Hg Bael Gundam, HG helios and HG Leo all found at hobby lobby. 40% off those kits every other week. Besides the Gouf Custom all are very new in the grand scheme of things. But that gouf Custom for under 20 bucks is a steal and it's one of the most bad azz kits straight off the runners...the Jesta is my favorite. Hobby lobby also has Bandai starwars, dragon ball and Deku is a crybaby academia figure rise kits. They also get a few RG wing zero EW and RG crossbone gundam sometimes.

I like the striker and the powered GM. Similar role and color is the new Qant Commander from the new breaker kits. It's a really good kit. You can also mount every weapon, he uses onto him

Wish this kit gets a revive version. It could use the improvement in the newer Ground-type GM/Gundam as well as the option to add/remove the reactive armor parts. The Twin Beam Spear/Scythe is really cool although I found the handle a bit shorter than what I expected and non-collapsible. Loved partswapping it's arms and equipment with the Powered GM Cardigan. Good alternate weapon for this is the Giant Gatling kit from GBF series.

I'm also using the GM Striker for a custom In a ruined city display fighting a Kampfer that has a crap ton of weapons alongside a Powered GM Cardigan.

I love the p bandai semi sticker but its not worth purchasing if it's been really marked up, especially since this kit exists. The striker is also great for customization to turn it into a heavy weapons unit since it has all that armor

Sadly Liam is currently going under multiple surgeries for health problem and he had to take a step back from gunpla he is going to come back as soon that he is better

This one absolutely destroyed me. out of all the gundam ive made Ive never thought a High Grade one will make work on it another day. Those little prongs on the legs were very brittle on my kit, tried putting them on the armor and it snapped. then one piece for some reason did not have a good grip on the knee joint and kept falling off. All and all this was one of the most frustrating builds ive made
