Plain and simple. Prodigy. This mans music will be remembered far after our lifetimes. At least by those who have a clue.

It's really TED Material. Robert Babics 29.10.2012 in Frankfurt by TEDxRheinMain. It was just a little story about his first steps of career. Sympatically, sometimes a littly bit lachrymosely, but interesting, espacially his music experiences in childhood.

Ok, I'm sorry for being totally honest here, but I have to. I love this guy's music. I'm a DJ and I'm constantly buying his track to use on my sets. I really love his work. But what was to purpose of this lecture? What was the theme? He just told something about the story of his life, veeery slowly, then showed a clip and that's it? Really TED material? I think not, sorry.

"it's not for lack of love of the language that these films have no words. It's because, from my point of view, our language is in a state of vast humiliation. It no longer describes the world in which we live." i think rhe lecture and his music gets it spot on.

Well, since you agree with me that he mostly talks about his own experiences with music, and nothing else (no reflexions, no new ideais, nothing really) the title is a little bit exagerated, and at least IMHO, this is not TED material.

Yes, you're right. His explanations are missing the point, nothing about an philosophie of music, like Adorno or Schönberg. It has been more aposite, the Ted-Organisizer titled the lecture elsethere like "Sound, Mind and Emotion - Who Music creates Musicians ". Roberts monologue resting upon the psychological consequences of music, it affects not there theorie.

It depends on what he is saying. Sometimes German is more concise than English. Sometimes not. That is my experience, anyway.

Is this right? He speaks like 100 words and the english subtitles show only 10.
