You have a gift for coming up with the perfect crop. When I watch your videos and the RAW version is displayed, I try to guess how you are going to crop. Sometimes I'm close, but more often than not you surprise me. Then, if it's not already explained in the video, I go back and try to figure out why you might have left out the elements you did. Thanks for another excellent video.

There are a lot of things we enjoy about your videos but one thing always stands out. Your ability to capture the real feeling of your surroundings. We just returned from a couple weeks stay a few miles (kms) north of Sooke. The potholes was on our list to visit as were several other parks you frequent. We have been fortunate to make this trip numerous times over the past 45 years. Vancouver Island is a magical place and when we look at your videos and images we get to relive that feeling you get walking on a beach or thru the old growth. Thanks

If I were to lie down like that you could come back next year and take some lovely picture of my bleached bones on the rocks! 😁 There were some lovely shots here in both locations. I think the moss covered roots with the waterfall in the background was my favorite. I also really liked that pinky purple mountain-scape very minimalistic and the layers were so nice!

You live on a beautiful island sir! Love the compositions @ 7:00 and @ 9:20. The light on the image @ 13:20 is terrific. I just admit, I am imagining the fun you and Gavin could have with that tent setup on the van. Lots of hijinks possible. Thank you!

Your videos are great. I love your photos and I'm findit really useful seeing local areas I can try shooting too. West coast woodland and coastal photography is a whole other ballgame compared to all the videos out there from the uk or out east!

Some really nice photos again, Adam! 😊 Nice to see you and Brian out in my backyard here in Sooke. I like the way you included the mossy root with the waterfall. That’s one of those locations I’m always trying to figure out a more interesting composition for.

Man I dream of shooting locations like this with all the moss and rainforest. I live in southern Utah right by Zion, so I don’t have anything to complain about, but these forests are so different from the deserts and forests of Utah. Great video!

It is a bit of a pain as there are wands to attach to push out the fly. On a car or lower truck it would be easier

Excellent as always. Thanks. Just one question, I see often you use f16 even when focus stacking. Perhaps it works different in a medium format camera? But I always learned that the Sweet spot was around f8-11….? Take care Göran from Latvia .

At the end screen I just realized you stopped using your drone. So sad. Your reveal shots were mesmerizing. I read Canadian drone laws are strict and ridicule the pilot, but if you stop using your drone does it worth the price of losing your aerial creativity side?
