During the course of the year, I took a picture (no matter where I was... in my room, out and about, just anywhere haha!) of my hair growth once a week. My hair is pretty curly but when it's straightened, it's almost to my shoulders!!

Thank you for posting this. Watching my hair grow back slowly and in an awkward, patchy way has been 10x harder than watching it fall out in the first place. Seeing other’s post-chemo hair progressions is very comforting, so thank you. You looked gorgeous the whole way!

It’s been three weeks since my final chemotherapy appointment and I’m on the road to recovery after my diagnosis with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. I’ve been struggling with my hair growth coming back and how I look during this time, the uncertainty of the time frame that it might take to grow back. I look in the mirror at all my little hairs fighting to grow, curious what it will look like during the coming future, so thank you for this video!!! This is awe inspiring and so thankful. I was diagnosed with Stage 4B NHL at 19 as well. I can't wait to get my fckn hair back... I'm kinda blessed in a weird way that I got diagnosed during quarantine so I don't have to go out or see anybody lol. So it's all about how I see my self, not worrying about self-confidence from another person's perception of me. I suppose that's a bonus but it's still hard 🥺

@@AliGomie I'm in about month 3 of growing it out and it's growing really quick. My hair is exactly the same as before in colour and texture, not even curly. I love the process of growing it out, I'm starting to feel like myself

Thank you for posting. How long did it take you to grow your hair back after chemo? My chemo was done in December and the cancer is gone. Thank goodness I had non-Hodgkin’s also and and it’s almost been a year since my hair started to grow back is that usually how long it takes is a year for it to really start growing back?

My hair didn't really start growing at all until a few weeks after radiation so it's still post chemotherapy but I started the photos after radiation yes :)

Your skin looks great btw. I read that radiation damges dna even on healthy cells, but your enymzines are able to repair it. I read that chemo damges your cell, but i dont know how it damges it and what part of the cell is effected
